I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Mtech in SPML in NIT Surathkal

Remarks:

The best thing about NITK compared to other colleges is It owns a beach. The only college in India to have its own beach. The negative part is the weather is humid and hot. The weather will be either sunny or rainy. Students need to carry an umbrella anytime in the college.

College Environment and Placements

Remarks:

The college is great. Its campus has a private beach. Located on the coast, the environment here is great. The teaching faculty is great. The placement is good enough. What else do you need Good and well equipped labs and lot of extra curricular activities.

One of the top ranking engineering college in India

Remarks:

College is very good and freedom provided is too good and it's rare to get same quality of education and freedom together anywhere else. Its only college in India to have a PRIVATE BEACH. Mangalore city is 40min from the college by bus. If you get an opportunity to study in NITK go for it don't have second thoughts.

About my college

Remarks:

Overall NITK is a top rated national institute in the country with a 380acre campus. With all the sophisticated facilities. One can join the college if they need good placement, more than 240 companies visit every year for placements. It has a great scope for extra curricular activities as the facilities available are great.

It has a really awesome infrastructure and faculty

Remarks:

Our cultural fest is among the best in India. You can even google it and see. The campus here is awesome, and the campus crowd is diverse due to which you get people from all parts of the country which is good. Our college is approximately 20 kms away from mangalore, but there are buses which are available almost every minute, so you can easily reach mangalore in 25 rupees. The campus life here is the best part of NIT-K, and you enjoy it a lot. Here, scholarships are great too. Our technical fest and engineering are also great.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
