I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

overall A great college

Remarks:

Several loopholes in the system that could be handled a lot more efficiently, and the faculty is extremely negligent towards students who are struggling but are still making an effort and choose to bask in the glory of readymade products. Other than that, it's been a wholesome experience studying at NITK.

NITK review

Remarks:

Postive remarks The college is very good at its a academics and research activities. The placement is also of 1st tier College level. The seniors are very supportive. Negative response The hostel washrooms are soo dirty. Cleanliness of hostels is a matter of concern.

NITK college life

Remarks:

NITK has a beautiful campus. NITK is the only college in India that has its own Beach. NITK has mainly two seasons one is the rainy season that is from July to October and another one is summer from October to May.

Life at NITK

Remarks:

There are new constructions as well as renovations taking place all the time in the campus. The cultural fest of NITK is one of the largest fests in the country. The tech fest is not up to the mark can be improved.

Remarks:

Postive- faculty is so strict here so everything happen according to the rules. Negative- due to strictness of faculty students feel little pressure on it which is not good I know rules are necessory but student feel little burden.

Life @ NITK

Admission:

Btech is the only course where you will be having various opportunities after graduation and what made me choose this institute is that its ranking and its climatic conditions. And moreover this is the best college where i can get admitted with my JEE rank :)

NITK - a great place for everything under college life.

Remarks:

No negative remarks on the college. The college itself is great by its history, students, distinguished alumni, faculty, academics, extracurricular activities, placements, research etc. We have a private beach too.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
