VNIT Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Currently because of covid 19 placements have been declined but during offline most of the reputed companies visit the campus and most the students are being placed with good packages and more than 60%are being placed every year. Fourth Year students sit for placements. Companies visiting include Reliance, Accenture, Godrej,Tata motor etc.

From starting of the 4th year the companies will start to visit the campus. Companies like Amazon, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, TCS, etc visited the campus last year. The jobs offer will be differ. Placement percentage is higher for computer science branch. You can try for different sector of jobs or can go for higher studies

There is a decent placement record in our college nearly average package is 8 LPA. After completion of the 2nd year, you are eligible for internship opportunities and after the 3rd year you will be eligible for placements in our college. Most of the top companies will be there for placements like Amazon, Goldman sacks, Morgan Stanley. The highest package is 42 LPA till now, most of the students will appear for placements and some of them opt for higher studies . you can do anything you wish to do.

Basically, it depends on the student and their source of interest but for most of the students, they started placing in starting of the 7th sem. So more than 300 companies come in of campus placements which include Microsoft Facebook Amazon adobe Samsung Infosys hp dell Sony reliance etc. More than 80 % of students get placement and 20% got in civil services and had their own business. I am a tech enthusiastic person so Basically, my interest is in coding and all so I am yet preparing for placements.

The placement percentage is 99.8% with an Avg salary of 8l. The placement program begins from 6 the semester and there are many internships offered for us during our time of the study . The highest package offered is 48l.

I choose Chemical Engineering since it was my field of interest. We have got the most experienced faculty, they teach excellent, the student teacher ratio would be around 1:25. We have all highly educated, PHD's, doctorate holder's, highly experienced and the exposure they provide us is top notch. Since we got admission during covid times, we completed one semester in nearly 4 months, and writing and scoring marks via online mode was not that easy task .

The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Most of the professors are old so it's tough for them to sync with new technologies but they teach well. I changed my branch from mining to EEE and that's how I got into this. The bad part is exams are really tough and lengthy to solve and checking is strict too.

From the 3rd year students can take part in the internship programs provided by college. Top recruiters of vnit Nagpur are Wipro, VE Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, Toshiba, TCS, Siemens, Reliance Industries Ltd, ORACLE India Pvt Ltd etc. No of offers made are 480 till sep 2021. The highest package for the year 2020-21 is 34.25 lakh per annum and average package is 8.42 lakh per annum. Percentage ratio of students getting placements is very good and increasing year by year. My plans after getting degree is to get a good placements in a top company.

Placement of the college is very good. NXP Semiconductor, Synopsys, microchip, micron technology marvel semiconductor are coming for placements. And we have a decent package average of 14 LPA .even if student Don't get jobs from placement off campus we have very records in every MNCs like intel, Synopsys, NXP , St microelectronics. On an average 60% students are getting placed with decent package

Jee mains is the required exam cracked by the students. Companies like WIPRO, DELL, QUICK HEAL, Etc . are providing jobs and students are getting posts like chief executive engineer, HOD, etc. The highest package went to 38 Lacs, Lowest was 13 Lacs and the Average is 14.8 Lacs, mine Package is 17.8 lacs .100 % Placement since it's an NIT.
