Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Placement Experience:

5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visited our college they are-Mahindra automobile, Suzuki, Samsung company, Vedantu, Rourkela steel, tata steel, sail steel, Infosys .there are offers around 100 students. The highest package is 14 lakh per year from computer science students. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh. 70 percentage of students getting placement. I want to clear the gate exam and study MTech.

Vssut collegelife is more than an emotion.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7sem. More than 20 companies come to our college for recuting in our college. Some MNC are TCS wipro Accenture. Highest package offered in our college is 10 lakh. Average package varies with branch. In CSE branch the average package is 4lakh. After my degree to take job through GATE or try to clear UPSC or clear CDS.

The average salary offered to the students of veer Surendra sai university of technology burlap is around 8-10LPA. Many students even apply for off campus placements and many appear competitive exams like CAT, gates, etc.

Life in VSSUT

Placement Experience:

People from the third year gain the eligibility to sit for the campus placements. VSSUT serves a whopping 70-80% of placements each year. Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Steel being common age in the placements with the highest package of 12-14 LPA and an average package of 6-7 LPA.

VSSUT Burla The Best university of Odisha

Placement Experience:

The 3rd year or the 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Again the packages and selection criteria depend on the company. Around 80-85% of students get placed rest opt for higher Studies such as Mtech or MBA. Many Big companies are coming such as TCS, Accenture, Tata Steel, Mindtree, Cognizant, Delloite, Vedanta, Amazon, etc. The average package is nearly 5-6LPA. Overall it's worth it. The highest package is gone nearly 15-16LPA as of I know. My future plan is to go for campus placements or MBA.

REAL VSSUT

Placement Experience:

3 of our seniors were placed at amazon for 15 lakh package. The average package is 4 lakhs. It all depends on the skills you have got in these 4 years of college. Even if you dont get lucky to crack on campus then you can crack off-campus placements.

Best Engineering college of Odisha

Placement Experience:

Around 80% of students are placed in CS/IT. The highest package was around 11lacs and the lowest was 2.6 Lacs per annum in CS/IT. Top recruiters come to our college, including Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Delloite, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The average package is around 3.6 Lacs. Many students got jobs at Amazon, Flipkart, and in many more top companies. So overall placement is good. Internships are provided to each and every student in our college as AICTE made regulations regarding compulsory internships. Many students are senior developers at Amazon Flipkart like companies (Off Campus). My plan is to get placed through college placement only.

Placement Experience:

70% batch of the students get placement from college campus and Some of the meritorious students get a good package from companies like Microsoft, Amazon through Off campus. Students were eligible from 3rd year for Placement. On campus placement Company TCS, Tata Steel, Coal mining, visit the campus Currently Highest package: 30 L Average package: 6 to 7 L After getting the degree I will prepare for Govt sector Jobs in PSUs through GATE Examination.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same

VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations

Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
