- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

Courses are relevant to our intrests in subject and domain. There is wide range of scope for core, non core and management domains from which we can opt courses as per our needs. Sources can be extensively provided which is the only scope of improvement I would suggest.

- The fact that the college is located in the outskirts of the city, its peaceful and not much disturbed.
- The general mass of the college is intellectual and does healthy discussions.
- The internship and placements opportunity is always high.

- The basic amenities in hostels are not upto the mark
Placement Experience:
NIT provides campus placements and does that really well. All the branches are well placed. Circuital as well as non-circuital branches sit for almost all companies. The domains vary from software, core, and analytics to management. The average package is around 13lpa

- The college is tier 1 college and they provide as many facilities as they can also the atmosphere here. Is very competitive as many of the students' are of the level of IIT and coding culture and everything is perfect here
Dislikes
- The mess food and hostel facilities lacks somewhere. Regardless being a top tier college the respond to the compliants are little bit late and also management issues are there
Placement Experience:
Placements are good here but this year due to company recession the placements stats were not that well and many students from other departments (non-circuital) who has chosen software as there domain faced lot of problems due to recession casuing companies hiring less number of people

- Being a Topmost NIT It has very decent placements and connectivity of great alumini network who are CEOs of emerging companies. Aluminis help students in many ways like providing free platforms to their juniors and also they provide scholarships.
- It has a lush green campus spread over 800 acres with a variety of flora and fauna ; Peacocks roaming ,dancing at evening making chill . It has a great level of insfrastructure, labs with new technologies and machines and experienced faculties
- Along with study , One can learn many skills due to many active tech clubs , cultural clubs , sports clubs , and can work on their soft skills and have some really great experiences in Cultural /Tech Fests hosted by our College
Dislikes
- If You are a north Indian , It might be tough to decide whether you should come here or not because its located in the mid of tamil nadu 7 hours from chennai but You will find an intermixed culture that may make you learn so many things
- As Its in Tamil nadu , so 50% students are tamil speaking and rest 20-25% comprising telugu malyali and kannad speaking people , so you may feel a bit uncomfortable in start ; and you wont get Hindi speakers much so , All will be in English only..
- Summer is a bit painful here ; the sunlight hit directly here and it feels like absorbing all energy .
Placement Experience:
From 7th sem companies start coming and hiring students. Like samsung visited and hired 7 students , Delloite hired 6-8 students, IBM hired 5 students and like that hundreds of companies visited. Highest packages of companies are like 50 lpa , 62lpa , 45lpa ,36lpa and average of companies be like 13lpa , 16 lpa, 18 lpa ,15lpa, 10 lpa
If no company visits, still we are eligible to aplly on top MNCs as we are NIT grads with top notch education and skill trained with sharp mind and quick learner skills.

- The infrastructure is fantastic and good environment for both boys and girls
- The networking is very good. You can get a lot of help from alumini
- The professors are very kind and helpful. Help you in very way they try to be our friends
Dislikes
- No sports equipment and lack of sports infrastructure
Placement Experience:
Nit Trichy is known for it's placements . Really good companies are frequently chose nit Trichy for requirements fulfill in their companies.iIn metallurgy and materials engineering 95% placements is generally happens the rest 5% goes for higher studies

- Academics curriculum is strictly followed.
- the cultural and technical fest and clubs are amazing.
- Attendance policy is strictly followed and this encourages academic participation of all students.
Dislikes
- Hostel basic facilities is not readily provided.For Example drinking and even non drinking water are not availe sometimes in hostel for one or two days leading to great problems.
- Hostel WiFi routers are of no use and even the mobile data is not working properly in some parts leading to great problems.There is no chance of having LAN ports or other options for high speed net.
- The night curfew imposed on the boys in first year and the girls in all years.
Placement Experience:
After completion of 6 semester one become eligible for placement and internship is in 3rd years. Placement of my department is around 14 lpa average and 12lpa median Placement is given to every student here.Its just 5-7 percent among those who wants having placement doesn't gets placed rest others who are wnat placement often gets placed from any department.

- You will find professors very helpful as they will help you in every way possible way
- The campus is one of the most beautiful among other IITs and NITs. 800 acre lush green campus with a lot of playgrounds

- I don't find this much to be disliked
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year onwards people start preparing for internship opportunities and there are so much companies that visit in the college itself to crack.
From 4th year you can attempt campus placement,there are so many tech giants visit here every year some of them are Microsoft,amazon,Google,cognizant etc.
Every year above 90% students get placed form here for sure.
Last year 90.8% students placed.
Also you can pursue higher studies if you want this college will help you in your way in future.

- The ambiance here is too good for our mental health.
- The faculties here are friendly enough to understand our problem.
- The students here are competitve, which make us think to improve each day.
Dislikes
- The temperature here is too high. Not a better place for people from cold places of different countries.
- Hostel facilities are too poor and not bothering to impose.
- Will not be able to use motorcycle inside the campus except faculties and Phd (day scholar).
Placement Experience:
The placements here are very much good. The companies coming in are mostly MNCs and they take atlest 2 to 8 students form each branch if they are willing to take from the branch. The packages are also quite good ranging from 5 LPA to 35 LPA in mechanical engineering.

Placement Experience:
Internships available in end of 4th sem and starting of 5th sem to end of 6th sem. From the 7th sem starting you'll get placement companies. No need to worry until you are atleast talented because of your experience till then in this campus. You'll get a minimum placement, the training will be taken care by seniors in the 6th sem which was very strict and well structured to make placement ready. You can either go for higher through the help of professor in the field you are interested but you need to do research intern under them.

- I like my branch symposium called sensors.
- I like library where I can read many litrature story.
Dislikes
- I dislike timetable for library it's closing time is around 7 pm.
- I also dislike mess food here someday they give only idli.
- I also dislike percentage criteria for attandance.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was quite interested in Sensors, Instrumentation how it work what is the logic behind any machine.
There are two labs in a week which gives us real time experience in about sensors and electrical circuit.
They should provide proper time for individual student in labs.

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
