- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

- No proper bus facilities in the midnight
- Some sort of language discrimination but not so high
Placement Experience:
We get very good placement in nit Trichy , the placements are managed by the placement coordinator and there is a guarantee placement with a minimum to minimum package of 6 lakhs per year unless they ve pending papers, and they ve to maintain a good cgpa in their semister as it is the only criteria for the company to judge students, intrested students can do projects internships in campus itself in their intrested fields

- Placements and internships offered in the college
- Campus is huge 800 acres, buildings are pretty awesome
- Faculty are of great knowledge, we can learn so much from them
Dislikes
- So much space in the college is not utilized
- Situated around 15 km fro town, going to town is a bit of hassle
- As it is in Tamil Nadu, temperature is very high
Placement Experience:
We become eligible for placements in 7th sem
Around 250 companies visit our college, popular ones are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, nvidia, oracle, Qualcomm, visa, paypal and many more. I plan to work for a company after my btech.

- Good sports facilities and huge campus to roam and relax anywhere
- Good classrooms and huge library with a good collection of books to learn from

- Very humid climate and high temperatures throughout the year
- City is too far from here and going to city to purchase things takes a lot of time
- Long distance from hostel to classrooms, water scarcity
Placement Experience:
Placements this year didn't go that well due to recession and inflation in current industries. Very few companies came. However the average package of the placed students is around 14-15 LPA. Around 80 percent of the total students got placed

- Timings of the classes and having too many exams
- Some subjects are quite tough and difficult
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course which I took in my college is computer science and engineering and the course is pretty good as the faculty and the professors are good they are teaching well and the subjects are quite good and the coding part is some what tough in the course but it is very important in computer science and engineering branch as all the software jobs are through this only

Placements are really good a good pool of companies recruit the students . The average package is around 900000 and it varies depending upon the company. Overall we have Return of Investment and its really good placements.

- Nature i.e greenery in the college. So peace and calm
- Club facilities that campus provide and allocation of budget to that clubs.
- Library. It contains almost all genre and particular books in all domains
Dislikes
- Temperature. Since trichy is very hot ,its so tuft to live here in summer.
- No AC facility in the classrooms and even Library
- Hostel is not at all good for the institute demand
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester,the students are eligible for campus placements. There are n no. Of companies that visit our campus and campus placement opportunities are really good. The highest package of the last year is 56lpa. The percentage of the students getting placements is above 80.

- Lot of space around the campus so excersing while roaming around
- Girls of course lot of good girls are there be confident if you like them,hope they are not taken
Dislikes
- Restrictions, sometimes lot of formalities for small things,especiallly if you need to got to home
Course Curriculum Overview:
curriculum is good , like all other institution education is bookish practical projects are less so people will find hard in placements because company expect you to be more practical.Relative grading is the other factor i found it more inappropriate since how grade depends on others as well, that is bad.

- Placement representative system which emphazises too much power on students which can be misused
- Few staffs who make you loose interest in subjects which are crucial
- All power for UG students and PG is not even considered for clubs and committee
Placement Experience:
For summers student should take responsiblity for their Internship, relying on Placecomm may or may not get you placed. For finals, Placecement representatives are choosen through a series of process by batch addressing etc. They are responsible for bringing companies to the batch and help the batch in getting placed.It works this way, batch is lucky if that person is competetant and otherwise if not. Unfortunately we are not. Highest package is around 15LPA and lowest is 5, my plans after degree is to prepare govt exams since I value job security

second year students starts applying for internships in 3rd semester itself.
from 7th semester starting, placements will start.
we have nearly 98 percentage of students get placed.
highest package is 60lpa.
median package- 14 lpa.
One 2014 passed out student suggested us to focus on any one thing and this college degree helps will take care of everything.And that student is working in Indian armed forces-cyber security.

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
