- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways
Dislikes
- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

- Campus life is considerably good, unlike the other b-schools the workload is comparatively bearable and you get some time for recreation
- Sports, Gym, Swimming pool, CCD these amenities in the campus makes the overall quality of campus life better

- Trimester pattern, only the length of subjects is big but lacks depth. Courses can be added according to current market needs
- Main preference to B.Tech in all aspects( especially for placements)

Placement Experience:
Dedicated Placement cell is works for the entire college with the representative from every departments. Placement process starts from 1st year last semester by CPC exam which contains questions from the topics taught in class and general awareness, every student is mandatorily need to clear that for applying to companies. After clearing 2000rs should be paid to Placement cell, as the companies visit the campus, it will be listed by the respective placement representative to the batch and interested students can apply. Around 25 companies have visited the campus so far, namely, Adani, Volvo, Accenture and around 35% batch is placed. Highest is around 14LPA and average falls around 9LPA. Profiles are mainly sales & marketing and Ops.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I had interest in Architecture and it made me choose B.Arch in NIT Trichy. It definately is a very good reputed college . The teaching is too good which makes is so easy and comfortable to get setteled in.

- Peer group is amazing, many intelligent people around.
- Placements are good, if you stick to the process and maintain a decent CGPA.
Dislikes
- Cut throat competition for grades and rank.
- Remote location and language barriers being a north indian
Placement Experience:
Internship from 3rd year, placements on the 4th.
Highest package last year was 51 lpa and average was around 12 lpa.
All the top MNCs visit the campus as it is the number 1 NIT and NIRF 9.
Placement percentage is around 90 percent.
Higher studies after b.tech.

- The environment of study is quite good, and activities around the campus keeps person engaged.
- The sports area is quite developed and one can easily participate in sports he or she likes.

Placement Experience:
Till last year the placement ration was well known for MCA it was more than 95%
but in current scenarion till date it is only 40%
There are several companies visited and they have made quite no of offers too

- Placements of NIT Trichy are really very good. The average of 29 LPA for CSE dept. is awesome.
- Faculty is very good. They are very understanding and matured
- The infrastructure of NITT is much much better than rest of the NITs.
Dislikes
- The only thing I disliked about the college is food.
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placements soon after 6th semester. While, they are eligible for internships from 5th semester. The tech giants like microsoft, google, amazon, etc. visit NIT Trichy. The highest package for year 2021 was 52 lakh in campus and the average for CSE department was 29 LPA. The thing to notice is off-campus placements are not included in the stats. Around 94% of students across all branches got placed.

- Local people of Tiruchirappalli are not good at all.
- Food issue may be one of the problem which you may feel.
- Language barrier is also a major problem.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester everyone is eligible for placements. Every big companies visited in campus such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber, Flipkart, Atlassian,etc with average package of 18 lpa or more. Around 98% placement in NIT Trichy.

- The things I liked about my college is the campus life is very astonishing because our campus is covered with many trees
- The faculties provided to us are highly educated
Dislikes
- There is a huge problem of water scarcity In the College mainly in summer times
- Cleanliness is not also good like in some parts of the college
- The food provided to us in canteen is not that healthy
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placement.Many big companies visited Nit Trichy like Microsoft, Disney hotstar, Oracle and they made a good amount offers for the students depending upon how the students gave their interview.The highest package which was given was 630000 and the average is near about 180000.The percentage of students getting placement is 70% in the recent years which can be increased in the upcoming year.After getting the degree I'm planning to get a placement in the software companies

From 6 semester students are allowed for internship then after 8th semester they will get job opportunities
Amazon, Flipkart, marine, TCL ,turtle ,incognizant, Microsoft, oracle etc come for palcements.
highest is 60 lakhs and average is 17lakhs
Roles are software engineer data analyst.
92 percent are placed in nitt
Will do the job and earn money will live life as I want.

- Classrooms are big and we'll equipped with modern amenities.
- Sports complex is very big and a lot of sports are there to play.
- Bus transport is pretty good and very cheap.
Dislikes
- The weather out here in college is horrible.
- Food culture is bad. Mess food is not so good.
- College is far away from city. No nearby facilities.

From sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are a number of companies that visit campus during placement to recruit. Microsoft, Google, Tata and many more. Highest package is more than 60 lpa and average package is 17 lpa. More than 90 percent of students get placed.

- The sports facilities and equipments provided for recreation is very good.
- The central library has books from allw genres.
- The college has one of the best alumni network.
Dislikes
- The weather here is very bad , in summers it gets very difficult to walk in campus
- Is very far from the main city making it yime taking to reach the airport and railway station.
- The mess food gets boring after a while , the mess menu is not revised.

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Infosys , reliance ,Google , Microsoft are some of the many companies that visited our college. Highest more than 60 lpa and average around 15 lpa. More than 88% people get placed. I will try for placements or go for MBA

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
