- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was quite interested in computer things since in my school. So I decided to take computer science engineering.
We have labs in which we do pratical things of related to real world like we do coding everyday on topic like dsa.
Teachers have good knowledge but they don't explain varywell.

frankly speaking i don't have interest in this course but i choose this course on the basis on my rank
the curriculum here in college is far better than school as it is highly practical and it has various uses with respect to the present world
the course is repeated every year and the teacher aslo don't find the course to make it interesting and they keep on teaching without any interest
the college exams are pretty easy and first ct1, ct2 and finally end sem

- Every event or special occasions everything will be done by students.
- The faculty and students will have good relations not just subject with extra circulars also .
- Girls safety in NITT is peak , they are very strict with rules for girls, if it's after 9 all girls should be inside hostel orelse parents will get a call.
Dislikes
- The exam system and academic circular, still they follow the same old pattern.
- We need access for advanced and modern equipments in the laboratory.
- We need proper internet access every where .
Placement Experience:
So coming to the placements scenario, we have internship opportunities from 3rd year , companies come to our Colleges in beginning of 3rd year roughly August to October, the companies conduct the exams , GD and Interview and select the best . Intern will be done for 2 months before 4th year starts .
Coming to placements, they will be in the beginning of 4th year and many companies Come and hier many students.
Not exactly but around 100 companies for our 4th years ECE branch of which many are software and a very few Core .
Highest is 52 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon from our department and average will be 15 lakhs per annum.
Approximately 95 -97% people will be placed in our ECE branch.
My plans to first work in a company and get an experience with it and then look after where to be .

- Language barrier between the students and campus outside
- The college is located far away from the city

Course Curriculum Overview:
Electrical and electronics engineering is a tough course in engineering but this is tough for those who are not interested in this course.those who have interest in this course he easily understand the concept.i quote good in electrical concept
In this curriculum we have two labs in a week one is for electrical and another one is for electronics.in lab we learn about machines and how to make circuit.this can help in real world.
They can provide their hand written notes print out to those students who have absent for some reason.
The end sem exam timing is 3 hours.

- Some subjects are quite difficult and tough
- Mess food is not good on some of the days
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course which I took was electronic and communications engineering which is very good and our faculty are also very friendly. The comprehensiveness of the course is also very nice. We have chance to take minors in other departments

- Sport activities, lab equipments , classroom facilities
- The technical and cultural festivals are too big and good to enjoy ..
- The core subjects of the curriculum is also good and that looks so good for me in the college
Dislikes
- Some of the professors are not upto the mark but have a high position
- Restrooms in the hostel are somewhat not adjustable sometimes
- Transportation is too difficult if we have our cycles repaired since it is a vast campus
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is good in the college since it is one of the best engineering colleges of the country . We will be trained for internships from companies and placement processs . Some professors must be changed to make the students better in their core subjects.

- peers group-here onlt toppers live so there is very tough to get good cgpa and due to raltive marking you v=have to study for good cgpa

- Campus infrastructure -here due to heat maximum fool in a buling is 5
- Tamil popualtion is more so you feel a little bit ockward
Placement Experience:
From starting of Fourth year averyone become eligible for placement
there are list-
google ,microsoft,oracle,uber.amazon,sprinkler,nividia,qualcum,texas instrument,Goldman sachs,BNY melon,Rubrix,De shaw,Acesium,etc

for software ,highest package is offered and for lats year this was 52 lakh offered by microshoft and average pacakge is 17 lakh
aprox above 90 percenatge student get placed lats year but this year due to recessin a little bit less may be
getting plaecment in software field is my plan because here placment is really good you can get job easily in a good company so i wiil seat in palcement and afte rtaking job i wiil deci9de 3the fultueb plan

- The campus provides the best intership opportunities and even the best of the best placement and it is having the good stats in terms of placement and intership
- Campus life is chilled , various nights canteens

- the 75 percent attendence criteria, some boring profs
- hectic schedule like almost 5 classes every day
- The food provided here is not so good , hostels rooms in beryl are so small and the hygience is also not maintained properly
Course Curriculum Overview:
actually to be very frank , i just chose the course on the basis on my rank and now i have developed the interest after choosing this course .
Our entire curriculum is fully connected to real world problems and the course helps me to visualize all the things which is taught solves the problem of the real world and also there are labs where all the things are done practically .
Some courses are there which I think would not help in the mere future but then also it is taught is in the class .Teachers now don't solve much problems in the class ,even the interaction between the student and teachers is not good .
First ct1 is held after some syllabus and then ct 2 after 1 month is held and then finally end sem is held at the end . The difficulty vary from course to course and also it depends on the teachers .some prof give exact pyq and some set really hard but in general if you are attentive then you can solve the problem very easily.

- 75% attendance criteria is something not likes by most of the students
- This college is very old. So infrastructures are not that good. Wifi facility is very poor
- Security at this college is a concern. As there is no check for boys hostel weather a person leaving is from this college or not.
Placement Experience:
Placement at nit trichy is really good. In 7th semester a student us eligible to sit for companies. All kinds of companies from tech to non tech, banking and fintech comes in college. Average package of ece department is 15 lpa. And it varies from department to department.. Highest package is 85 lpa given by rubric. Nearly 98 percentage of students gets placed in ECE this percentage varies from department to department. After getting degree I'll do job.

- Our college is very vast , so it looks very spacious and peaceful.

- It lies in the outskirts of the city Trichy . So it is very distant from the main city.
- There is only one main ground and other grounds are not maintained properly
- The hot climate present here, it is very sunny even in winter.

Special aspects of the ciriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is availability of more jobs.i joined ece in nit , so it is very easy to get a placement which is very helpful in buildingu career.

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
