- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways
Dislikes
- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

From the beginning of the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like WIPRO, Microsoft, Infosys, Adobe, Amazon, and Morgan Stanley. recruit the college students. About 91 % got placed in the previous year. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average package is 12 LPA.

- CAMPUS- Very big and beautiful Campus with greenary environment.
- Library - A very big library in the college.

- Weather - Very hot weather if you belongs from north.
- Location - Nearly 20 km from the main city.
- Language - Language issue if you go outside the campus.
Placement Experience:
The best thing about this college is the internship and its placement. This is why this college is a Top NIT. Nearly every company visited this college like Google, Microsoft, de Shaw, and for chemical core ITC, PnG, etc.

- Location- Location iss college is not so good , 19 km from city.
- Language Problem- if you are in campus then no problem but outside campus language issues is there.
Placement Experience:
Internship and placement is one the main reason why this college is very famous among JEE aspirants. Nearly all Top MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and De Shaw comes for internship and placement in the field of tech. Core companies also came like for my branch Texas and Instrument. Avg package is nearly 20-22 LPA. My plan after my degree is to go into tech fields.

- Good culture here every student is very productive evryone doing new thing and also we can do anything what ever we want eveything is depend on you.
- Good faculty they are very intractive with us .
- Here placement is very good more than 90% student get placement.
Dislikes
- The hostel is not good it can be improve & hitech.
- They can give ac in class room also and class room seeting area can change.
- Here every where is forest that can be organised,
Course Curriculum Overview:
my course is metallurgy stream so it is nice & faculty members are also very nice and friendly behavior.
I choose this course because of only not get very good rank and I was given college preference because nit trichy is no 1 nit college and also India's top 10 engineering college is one of them.
I didn't know what is the ratio but the faculty is enough for us including Ph.D. students
our college faculty are very highly qualified the maximum faculty are passed out from iit, nit & they have b.tech, m.tech, Ph.D. degree. their teaching method is also good if we asked them Q personally they are also helping us.
Basically in our college, they are taking three exams (CT-1,CT-2 & End sem). Nothing is difficult but if u get good marks in ct then there will be no difficulty for u passing the exam because we have 35% criteria for passing the exam.

- Campus Life is awesome. A lot of active clubs to participate and grow with.
- Good senior junior relation and peer group.
- Infrastructure development like supercomputers and octagon.
Placement Experience:
5-6 semesters for internship and 7-8 for placements. Many companies visit with an average of 15 LPA and the highest of 40+ for our department. Circuital branches would have higher packages. Around 90% of students got placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I am interested in coding and designing websites, so this option suits me well. the ratio of students to faculty was 1:32 The faculty of the college is very supportive and do help us in every manner. The teachers are well-educated from top IITs. The exams happen once every 6 months

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because my passion was to become a computer engineer and there are also many job opportunities in this stream. The faculty of the college is very great as it teaches from the basic depth of the concept.

- Campus is also spread over large area, so can be difficult sometimes.
Placement Experience:
From the 5th Semester students are eligible for placements for this course. Top companies visiting NITT are Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, etc. The highest package is around 40LPA, the average is around 12LPA and the lowest IS is around 5LPA. Around 90% and above students are placed every year. The top roles offered are SDE, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, etc.

- All types of facilities are available like sports and study.
- Weather is also good inside campus, small markets and canteens are also available.
- No restrictions inside the campus for boys to roam even at night.
Dislikes
- Too many poisonous snakes available and even the college hospital is available but no any snake antidot is available, they refer you to apolo hospital.
- No tranportation is flexible, if you go to trichy bus stand it is very difficult to find any bus for returning campus as our campus is situated too far from main trichy city.
- Session late problem always happens, for this we have complete our semesters in only 4 months some times only in 3 months instead of 6 months.
Placement Experience:
Genuinely this year due to the recession and layoffs many companies have visited our campus but have not shortlisted especially MCA, placement season is poor this year still 17 students are unplaced right now out of 109 and only one month is left for placement for our session 2023.
The Highest package is 44 LPA which is given by Amazon, and the lowest package is 7-8 LPA which is given by Collins Aerospace and some other companies.
83% of students have placed.
My goals are to become a good software engineer in the software industry.

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
