- Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
- Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
- You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

- The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
- Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
- This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

Placement Experience:
Placement here are top notch. Most of the students get placed . For civil average placement was 13 lpa for year 2022 - 23 . For CSE it's around 28 lpa and college average is 17 lpa. Highest was more than 60 lpa.

- My course is the thing i liked the most, including the flexible curriculum.
- Students over here are very good and are qualified enough to be here.
- Campus is huge , infrastructure is also good , exploring the campus is fun.
Dislikes
- The Weather over here is too hot sometimes.
- The curfew timings in the hostel for 1st years , we have to be inside the hostel before 10 pm
- No washing machines for 1st years so we have to wash clothes on our own or give it to the laundry
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester , students become eligible for campus placements.More then 250 compaines visit the college for placements including google , microsoft, amazon etc.Highest package is more then 50 lpa and average is more than 15 lpa.More than 90% students get placed.My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company.

- Huge campus, people from all over India, some of the brightest minds in the scope of engineering
- Faculty is highly skilled and learned, with ironclad methods to upskill the students
- Huge scope for sports, providing oppurtunities to every student.
Placement Experience:
Roughly 80% of all students are placed by the college. Some companies visiting include Qualcomm, Accenture, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Nvidia etc. Highest package for CSE goes up to 58 LPA while for Production Engineering had a maximum package of 40 LPA. I plan to go into a core job corresponding to my department to learn more about management and apply for an IIM, which NIT Trichy will give me an edge over the competition.

- Limited recreational spaces, like modern food courts
- Only one gym and library. multiple gyms near each hostel would be much more appreciated.
- Curfew timings for first year boys and all girls in general.

All students of VII and VIII semesters have the requirements for attending campus recruitment.

highest package was 52.89 LPA, average was 17.23 LPA
My plan as of now is to get into a top tech company.

- attendance restriction of 75% for courses
- Curfew timing for girls resulting in restriction of movement
- location where it is located limits accesibilty
Placement Experience:
from 7th semester students are eligible for placements and many students manage to get pre placement offers from companies from their interships only. a total of around 30 companies have visited and one student can get only one offer according to training and placement department. software and hardware roles both are offeref and highest package offered till now is 64 LPA around 70% students manage to get placed and even i have been placed. I plan to join work force after graduation

From 5th semester internship season starts, we get a direct offer if we do well in internship. This is the easiest way to get placed. Then placements starts in 7th semester, highest 64lpa, a avg 20lpa low 12 lpa in my department

- Campus Life is somewhat moderate with many clubs to get it.

- Poor and old infrastructure.poor amenities.

- Student: faculty ratio is not good.Faculties are not well trained.

The highest package in the year 2022 is 40 lpa. The average is 10.5 lpa. 73% of students get placed. After getting my degree I will opt for placement.

- Language barrier is one of the biggest issue.
- The weather here is life taking dangerous.
- Campus size is an issue also as it is too big

Placements on average are good here. From 7 sem students can sit for placements. There were around 50 companies that visited clocking the highest at around 70 lakhs/yr. It was provided to a person from CSE. I plan to get a placement also.

Placements are good as top companies come to our college. Like Cognizant, google,IBM etc... The highest package of previous placements is 98 lakh per annum and the average package will be around 20 lakhs. Around 85 percent students will be place in the campus placements itself. I am planning to do M.Tech after completing my B.Tech.

- The best thing is you get good exposure to things and will be able to plan your future as you wish.
- You can also work on your personality development and communication skills. Many clubs will help you in this path.
- You will be having a pool of oppurtunities to learn and do things better.
Dislikes
- The poor infrasture grabs the first place and the hostels definetly needs to be modified.
- My current course, Electronics and Communication Engineering is hard and feels very difficult.
- There will be some faculty who may face difficulty in teaching and that may waste your time.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements will be availed in the 7th semester but the students can take company internships in the 5th semester and professor internships from the 3rd semester. Many MNCs like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Goldman Sachs, will visit the campus during placements and select the students they need. The packages of students may range from 5 LPA to 1.2 CPA that depending on the CGPA of the student and the skills that student has. If you are a NITTian, then the maximum you will be placed but you should ensure that you finish all your backlogs. The placement percentage will be greater than 90 as some students will plan for higher studies after pursuing their Bachelor's degree. I also want to go for higher studies after having a degree probably in foriegn countries or any IITs in India. But i will do this while i am having my job.

What is your review about NIT trichy electronics and communication branch?

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
