UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The law subjects are nice and essential for the law students. The law subjects are interesting but we do have subjects which are unwanted and irrelevant like managing relationships or learning how to unlearn, etc. The exams takes place offline and 6-7 papers get finished in 15 days so we start and finish our academic year early.

I wanted to become an engineer and dreamt of it ...the reason being I chose to pursue btech from computer science The fees should be a little less and reduction in student capacity because many undeserving students also hold seats instead of some deserving people. The frequency and timing of exams is quite good and acceptable.

Placements are quite average and you should not expect much from this college. You should maintain your 8+ CGPA so that you can sit in placements. Even if any person is not placed they will provide you assistance even after completion of your degree but they will not guarantee it.

The course and curriculum is very much relevant but the good faculties are not there as they are not able to handle the class it self. They are very less experienced to handle pg students as of now there is a very much lack in the implementation part. The kpmg part is only good as industry person as kpmg employees teaches they divided the class into 2 parts to handle the large class

I graduated in Maths from UPES so I can only give an overall review about the mathematics segment of the college. The course curriculum is somewhat strange as UG Maths is not what you'd expect in 12th. The teachers are supportive about everything (not all) and are helpful in various aspects of the degree.

The teaching method is fine but i want faculty to teaches us in practical way also because in ananlytics it's very important to know the practical thing rather than theory. Question paper of exams is moderate level not very difficult.

The placements are not bad but not too good. The average package fluctuates every year between 6 and 7 Lakh per annum. The highest package is 50L that a student got from Microsoft. Students mostly go for higher education.

The placements are really good, every course has got many many good companies recruiting students. Hyundai, tata, Samsung and such big titles are there for the internships. Overall the placements are 90% good and suitable.

The university does offer on camous internships and placements to the stuents. various big tech companies are seen in the campus in the placement season. the highest package can go as high as 50lpa whereas the average package lies around 10lpa for my course

Students are elegible for campus placement from 7th sem onwards This college provides 100% placements for all students There are various company visited like ongc Gail and many more Highest package this year is 21 lac and average package is 8lac My plan is to take good placements from campus
