UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for Internship Opportunities and thereby placements in the 4th sem. Marketing and Sales internships are offered more. The package for BBA Ft this year was at the highest, 11lakhs CTC pa. almost every sales and marketing student shall be placed. I might go for MBA after my course completion

In-campus placements are really very nice. If you work hard enough and have a good knowledge of what is asked, you might get a good placement. The average package around the campus is around 9-10 lakhs per annum. Which is quite higher than other universities

Placement starts from seventh semester. Various company starts to visit the college during this time. Aptitude and group discussion are initial round. Then personal interview. Wipro, ibm, infosis, tcs are to name the few.

There are good placements. Many companies visits the campus for placements every year because university has signed MOUs with many companies (some oil PSUs also) and course curriculum is according to requirements of industries so companies prefer our university for placements. Average package is little less approx 5 lakh per annum but more than 90% students have a job after the graduation from this university.

As I had science PCM in my 10+2 and I was quite decent in mathematics so I decided to pursue B.Sc honours mathematics as my course in the university. UPES has one of the best faculty members for the maths department. There were adequate number of faculties and the total strength of our class was 14. All the faculties were highly qualified and had innumber of research papers published on their name. As the subject mathematics is itself very complex so it was obvious that it was difficult to manage a good score in the subject.

Since the 6th semester the placement begin but when the students tend to be more exceptional in their field of education and go beyond their nornal curriculum they can achieve further heights and more better .

From 5th or 6th semester i guess students become eligible for campus placements. Companies are good. Recent highest package by 2023 was 50Lakh i guess. Percentage rate and all, i dont have much idea yet.

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Barclay, and other companies also Percentage of students getting placed is above 90% My plans after getting the degree are for business or a high end job
