8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

College has supportive and friendly environment

Some teachers give excessive assignment or exams with little breathing space

Since now we are the first batch in the college as an Artificial intelligence specialisd college. We have got the assurance that we will surely place after the degree. They offered ys 24LPA.they will provide job in the best industry in the world

We got an internship after first year at Smart city Kochi

Dislikes

They didn't provide a good mentorship and faculties are mostly Freshers they don't have any experience in teaching
They offered lot of things like add on course and AC classrooms, And we didn't got it
Management is worse They even didn't know how to run a college

Placement Experience:

They offered great placements in MNC's with 100% placement assurance. We are the first batch of the college and I'm pursuing my 4th semester now. College will provide placement for all students with 24LPA salary package as FRESHER

I like the ambience of the college as it is situated in the top of mountain and view is mesmerizing.
I like the teachers here, they are super supportive
It helped to upskill myself my skills. My skills enhanced in a good way.

Dislikes

We kind of have to way a long way to walk to college from the main stop if you are not tak8ng auto or cab.
Events are less in oir college. But the evebts conducted sometime it goes dumb.
Wifi access is not given to all the studnets as they said in the brochure.

Placement Experience:

Placement is kind of good at our college now. Atbthe time of lay over it was not at a good position . Now we get calls from companies like Ashok Leyand , UST , litmus7 , Deltax and other reputed companies. I am already placed . Most probably I will look for more opportunities.

very supportive faculties who provide guidence and clarity on technical concepts
well organized curriculum that covered core technical subjects relevents to my field of electrical and electronics engineering
well equipped labs for hands on learning and projects

Dislikes

lacks of placements coming to the college
fewer oppourtunites for industrial visits and internships
limited maintenance of common areas like hostel and canteen

a few core engineering companies visit the campus for recruitment,offering roles primarily in field of study; however the number of companies offering core roles is limited; the majority of placements are in IT and software companies;

My view of my college

Likes

Teachers are very friendly and take effort to help each student's to succeed
College environment is good, give fresh feel and are situated in peaceful areas
College provided with all facilities including library hostel college bus etc

Dislikes

Place is little inside, that is little away from main road
An insect named kotteruma in these area which is very irritating
Number. Of placement are comparatively low when compared to nss college of engineering palakkad

Placement Experience:

For cse and IT more placement opportunities are coming but for other branches placement are comparatively low. Our placement cell is trying to develop placement opportunities. They are conducting several training program to improve the skills in students. If no placement then next step is to find an add on course to get placement very easily

Very comprehensive and relevant course and the frequency and timing of exams are very perfect.Teaching method and curriculum is very effective followed with semester wise exams.Overall it's a very productive course

Life at engineering

Likes

College is really student friendly and staff friendly.
College located in a peaceful place from town .
Requirements are satisfied as per need and requests.

Dislikes

College bit more away from town so travelling
Place is not very happening so doesn't suit for people eho loves that vibe

Placement Experience:

Campus placment occurs randomly. But core companies are less arrived and hiring. Comparitively IT companies come and hire student. More over placement happens through placement cell. But off campus placements are happening and students are getting placed.

EXPERIENCE IN GEC

Likes

GEC = FREEDOM. students can have enough freedom and there is no one to restrict their actions.
Campus. GEC have a beautiful campus which no other college can provide.
Location. Gec is located at the centre of thrissur town which proved easy access to bus, train,malls etc

Dislikes

Dirty politics..Politics is okay but when it is extreme it leads to toxicity
Less core company placements expecially in electrical, chemical, production, civil

Placement Experience:

my college is providing campus placement but mostly in IT company and software companies. Any branch students can apply it but most of the students are interested to do the core job. it is difficult to get the job what you studied. From sem 7 campus placement starts. companies cam during 2024 include TCS,Infosys, Saint Gobains, LandT, LTImindtree, igniterium. cognizant. sobha constructions.,mitsogo, deltax, JSW, Anora, waferspace,MRF,walkaroo, accenture and many more. Highest package includes 21L per annum and average package is 3LPA

My GEC

Likes

I like the overall atmosphere.There is a big awesome basketball court.

Dislikes

I don't like that there are many street dogs in campus causing troubles

There is a placement cell in our college. However our college is quite new compared to other government college, so the placements coming to our college is less compared to other government and non government colleges ,still our college gives information about near by placement drives
