8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

My college my heaven

Likes

I liked the way the college teachers and staffs were behaved and they were much supportive and encouraging.
The festivals and other activities were good.
Sports activities were good and we got support from all the departments

Dislikes

The mess food were not upto mark as we expected
The security staffs were behaved very rudely
Instruments and equipments in our lab were not upto mark

The course i am studying is Biotechnology and biochemistry.The syllabus helps in real world applications.The area for improvement is in lab facilities.The exams is in very tight schedule and no sufficient preparation time.

Staffs are qualified much,they pass psc exams.
Has separate grounds fro basketball,football,badminton
Provide hostel facilities and have late night curfews

Dislikes

Things get lot of time to replace and repair
Has politics which distract students from studies

Curriculum is really bad for computer science since it is a developing and latest technology it should be uptodate but ours is really much out of trend Exam frequency's is very good and it helps to understand topics

Mentor college review

Likes

Mentor academy is a new college so the number of students are low
This college gave me internship after my first year of joining
Their is a smart board in class room for studying

Dislikes

This college is situated in rural and remote area
College has very less cultural activities
College only give priorities to studying and nothing else

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is a add on program in the college for building industrial experience. The rest are just like any other college. There are many flaws in the college system which needs to be fixed and improved. The college only focus on academics only.

My college review

Likes

Well behavior of the staff, facualties, teaching & non teaching staffs and also tge management
Well qualified students are studying here so the standard of education is good
Good programms, and can enjoying nature.

Dislikes

The campus of the college shoulde be maintained properly
There is not enough facualties for teaching
There is not a good library. The central library in here is not providing much books

Placement Experience:

Here there is less placement drive. From 7th semester onwards students should be placed. But there are more software companies are here for hiring. The core companies for electrical, mechanical, electronics& civil are less. The average pack is 1.8-2 lakh per annum

Review of a first year student

Likes

I liked the atmoshpere of the college and the activities that are taking place
Lot of competetions and workshop we can attend
Good teachers good facilities good wifi connection

Dislikes

Canteen is not that good have only limited food options
Infrastructure of the college is not that good
Not much good for sports.not much area is there to play

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available from 4th year onwards.some of the good companies like tcs,tech mahindra visit the college for placements.average package is about 3 lakhs.more than half the students are getting placed and few of them are going for higher studies

The college atmosphere is really good to study .
It is situated in a forest like area so there is so much to explore
Most of the faculties are having a good relationship with the childrens.

Dislikes

It is situated in a forest like area so transportation facilities are less.
Sometimes hostel food is not good most of the time breakfast.
Some of the faculties are not good can't bear their character.

Placement Experience:

They offered us they will provide 24 lakhs per annum jobs. That is the main reason I joined this college but we are the first batch so I don't think we will be able to catch a 24 lakh per annum jobs under these poor circumstances. If I don't get a placement i have other plans I have to find a govt job.

Likes

Academically college is very nice and very good infrastructure and facilities
The college construction are work in progress
Behaviour of faculty are very nice and very friendly

Dislikes

Strength of the students are comparatively less
Programs are very rare.but conducted events are awesome
They are very strict if we bunk any class the corresponding faculty contact with the sudent and parents

Mainly I like the course I took that's why I selected myself.if we face any disabilities in studying the will provide needful things to overcome the obstacles teaching staff,non teaching staff and management are also very supportive

Good education, faculty, environment, canteens

Dislikes

No much placement opportunity, college is situated far away from main road.
No wifi available in all the classroom, transport facilities are difficult
Canteen is not much developed, food are not much tasty

Placement Experience:

From s6 onwards students can appear for placement. Most common companies visited include tcs, Siemens, cognizent, ibm, ipa etc. For CS and IT there are many opportunity but for other branches there are competitively low opportunities. Average highest package is 400000. Percentage of students getting placement is 50%. My plan after getting placement is to achieve higher position in same company

Smart board with touch facilities, ac class room, very peaceful atmosphere
Interactive facilities and faculties,staffs etc

Dislikes

Principal,director, they are very strict

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is kalam technological University. So the syllabus is ok not that hard The teaching methods should improve . Chosing a faculty with teaching experience should be better. There should be exams with a moderate frequency cus it helps to study the curriculum very well.

Likes

The college surroundings are clean.Staffs in college are well educated.
All the faculties have a good behaviour and they teach well
College promote many extra curricular activities

Dislikes

Placements compared to other College are less
Transportation facilities to college is less
College hostels have only minimum accomodation

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in GEC Palakkad in comparatively less.Only a very few core companies are coming here.30-40 percent alof students are getting placed only.The college authorities should improve placements
