- One of the thing I like about my college are the technical event held by the clubs. You can learn a lot and gain a lot of experience from these events.
- Another thing I like about the campus are the people. You can come across different types of people here and networking is this campus is really good
- Another thing I like is the slot option provided by the college. Students gets to choose their class slot( either morning or evening) and the faculties
Dislikes
- The college is strict especially for hostelers. Getting an outing to go out of college is a hectic task. As they ask for parents permission, proctor permission just to go out and they have an early in time from outing that is 6pm
- Office order: Office order is something a student will receive if they get caught in any misconduct in the campus. Apparently if a student has more than 3 office order, he/she can't sit for placement
- Early in time for hostelers. Boys intime is 9pm and girls it's 8pm
Placement Experience:
From the second semester of your 3rd year that is your 6th semester onwards placement training and placements will begin. Companies such as Microsoft, Google, Apple and TCS do come for placements. Last year(2023) there were around 1000 offers made. The highest package can go upto 60 lakhs and sometimes 1 crore. The average package is 8 lakhs. VIT claims 100% placement rate. My plan after getting the degree is to work in a company for few years and save up money. Once I have received a certain amount I am going to start my own company.

- Hostel mess are pretty decent compared to other colleges, they offer good food.
- Cleanliness accross the campus is also pretty decent with trash cans fixed everywhere for ease of disposing waste.
- VIT offers good placements having 8 LPA average package.
Dislikes
- Less freedom, hostel in times are 9 pm after which the curfew begins.
- Very less wifi speed: hostel provides only 4mbps of wifi speed.
- Poor network accross the hostels is a big issue.
Placement Experience:
Strudents become eligible for placements after in their 3rd year and their placement rehearsal begins.
Many companies come to the college for placements. Around 400 to be precise. Highest package last year was 1CR.

- Huge campus and various facilities and infrastructures
- Nice hostel and mess services. Room management are good.
- Huge diversity around the world, they make better exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum at vit is different than most other colleges, here we have professor based classes which means we can choose our classes and professors and make a time table. This helps students make a suitable time table (morning based or evening based). However the assessments and scoring GPA is quite hard as we have a relative grading and this might be just luck for many students.

- I liked the people at the campus from students to staff as well some lf the teachers
- The food on campus is great also there are some restaurants near by giving great food
- The club activities and events are just greaf from informative events to fun there is a event goiing on every day
Dislikes
- The rules are too strict for hostel and the punishment is just a way for them to get more money from us
- The language differences if you are someone from north india might be a trouble
- Some people are not as good as one might think so try to stay away from them
Placement Experience:
Placement is offered but i am a 1st year myself from what i have heard from my seniors the placements are good if you work hard enough. The college facilities are eager to help you through everything that they can.

- Hostel facilities and labs facilities are good
- Food of mess is good and we have so many varieties
- Campus life is good and facilities are available
Dislikes
- Internet is very poor in our campus like 4 Mbps and sim network Is also poor
- Campus is too crowded so no place to play with friens
- So many restriction in our college on girls and boys
Placement Experience:
Placement is good around 10 laks per anum
From 6 semester students become eligible for placement
Google , Microsoft, amd , micro many top companies visits our campus highest package is around 1.05 cr and avergae is around 10 lakhs
Not shure about percentage of students placed

- The number of opportunities in technical and cultural aspects.
- The special teams are a great way to enter competitions.
Dislikes
- The rules are very strict and gaurds are also strict.
- Back checking is done always which is quite infuriating.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. The highest package is 59 LPA and the average package is 8LPA. 80 to 90 percent students are placed, some go for higher education. My plan after the degree is to get a job for 2years and then go for masters.

- Campus facilities provided to students are good.
- The grading system of VIT is really good.
- The regular interval examination helps them focus on studies and along with events to keep mind fresh and active
Dislikes
- The classroom doesn't have airconditioner and in summer it's very hot.
- I final exam if you want to check if there is mistake in paper correction you have to pay to see your answer sheet officially
- The timing of classes is weird, there are unnecessary breaks in between lecture which only waste time
Placement Experience:
From 8th semister students are eligible for campus placement.
Total of 904 companies visited for placement, like
Microsoft, D E Shaw&Co, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Intel J.P.Morgan etc
Highest package - 1.02 crore per annum
Average package - 9.23 LPA
A total of 14345 students were placed.
My plans after degree is to continue my studies and do masters

- Infrastructure is really good as VIT never backs off from spending money on improving the architecture.
- Courses offered have a lot of variety and specializations making it easier for students to choose exactly what they want
- FFCS- this is a system which is managed well here, 9 pointers get priority in choosing faculty and making their own time table, followed by 100 percent attendance holders
Dislikes
- If you are a hosteller then there are lot of restrictions like you cannot go outside for more than 6 hours.
- The security guards keep whistling at boys and girls even sitting remotely close
- The amount of exams and tests conducted suck the soul out of every student every week you have something to attend to
Placement Experience:
The placement percentage is really high in VIT. More than 90 percent students get placed. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart visit every year and offer around 200-300 people just from these top companies, coming to good companies around 2000-4000 offers and the rest get placed in mass recruiters like TCS. The highest package seen here was 1cr and average is around 9-10 lakhs as of 2022 data.

- We can choose our own faculty and then there is time flexibility
- Hostel bathroom are very clean and are cleaned on a regular basis
- If you have a 9 cgpa then there is no need of getting attendance
Dislikes
- Over populated ground at evening, it's very difficult to play
- Everytime you have to give attendance while going inside the hostels and also everytime there is a bag check

Yes our college provides campus placement and students become eligible for that after 3rd year and they also get offers for internship too The highest package offered during VIT Chennai placements 2023 was INR 59 LPA and was made by Krypto. Further, a total of 634 dream offers and 1,033 super dream offers were made during VIT Chennai placements 2023. The top recruiters of VIT Chennai in 2023 were Adobe, Microsoft, Texas, Airbnb, etc. overall over 90% students get placed(in CSE field).

- Ambience, infrastructure and good hostel accomodation
- Clean hostel rooms and time to time cleaning
- Good and smart friend circle coming from all the places of India and even from countries like Qatar etc
Dislikes
- Hostel timings and bring too strict for wearing ID cards
- Bad environment for student freedom and making the feeling of it like jail
- Only the road connectivity is available and distance of the cable from Railway station and Airport
Placement Experience:
As VIT is very stretch and disciplined able it's placement and the placement of all the campuses is centralised to main Vellore campus and from the 1st year you learn the subject called Soft skills in which you learn to answer the different questions asked in the placement rounds of the company.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles. Accenture, Adobe, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and others were among Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's top recruiters in 2022.
