- I like my campus infrastructure.Labs are equipped with ACs.
- Environment of studying is there in college is there.
- When holidays are given VIT drops students to bus stand,train station,airport.
Dislikes
- There could have been more time to relax.
- Work will be given on weekly basis.If one doesnt work they will be lagging in competition.
- Rooms could have 2 or 3 sharing. Wifi is a bit slow.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Basically I am interested in programming and I have been doing it since my childhood. I prepares us well as we have python in the first sem and the curiculum makes sure that one learns to code.Teaching is good as faculty is interested to teach.They are talented individuals as they have PHD degree from top institutes.One will have 2 mids and one final sem. Exams are very easy if one prepares.

- I also liked the campus life, and the hostels are good
- Everything is good, Academics is also good
Dislikes
- Academic block classrooms are not having AC
- Most of the times we have classes on Saturdays as well
- Holidays are somewhat less as compared to govt colleges
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very good and I took this course based on my interest in the field of Btech. Yes, the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. There are no improvements needed. Exams are conducted three times per semester. The difficulty level is moderate to easy.

- Hostel is very good and food is also good, curriculum is updated well
- Classrooms are also good, labs are equipped with AC
- Teaching is also good, we can also choose our teachers
Dislikes
- Academic block Classrooms are not equipped with AC
- Most of the times, saturdays will be working days
- Rules are very strict inside the campus, outing permissions etc are somewhat strict
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is so flexible, that FFCS (Fully flexible credit system) makes it easy to choose class timings based on our interests. The curriculum prepares you for real-world applications. There are no improvements needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. Exams will be conducted three times per semester, the difficulty level will be moderate.

- The environment the college provides is amazing. It stays close to nature and ath same time is developing to its full potential with construction of various infrastructures
- The college spent a good amount in improving the sports and physical education sector
- The opportunities this college provides to meet and interact with different people is beyond comparison. A student can learn a lot of new things and get various experiences through these faculties and people visiting the campus
Dislikes
- 75 percent compulsory attendance is required for attending the examinations
- Any leave request or outing request is to be approved by a proctor assigned to you which is a great process. This restricts the students in going out for emergencies.
- The way we have to maintain a balance between doing assignments, projects attending club activities and classes along with maintaing a social life is tiring at a lot of times

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements towards the end of the 4th year. The average CTC is 8.19 LPA in the college with the lowet being 3.7LPA and two students have secured 1cr+ LPA in canpus placements. The major companies that approach the college for campus placements are Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Hero, ITC and Mahindra.
As for me, the plan after after completing my bachelors degree is to go for masters and pursue my interest in weapon engineering.

- Inside campus life is good, we have all the facilities and people here are quite helpful.
- We have a proctor proctee system in which a faculty is taking care of 30-40 students whenever they have any issues in whatsoever matter.
- Hostel facility is good enough and the food provided in mess is also good.
Dislikes
- Leave system and outing, even though the campus is full of energy, there are unnecessary restrictions.
- Less Greenery and plantations, I feel there should be more of that provided.
Placement Experience:
VIT provides a central placement facility for all the campuses. Campus placement rate is quite good and students are eligible for placement from 7th semester and placement cell also provides training for students for aptitude, technical and interviews. Many reputed companies have visited like Microsoft, Dell, TCS, Infosys etc. Highest Offer was made by Microsoft offering a package of 44lpa. Nearly all the students sitting for placement gets placed. I plan on grabbing a job from the campus placement itself.

- Academic Courses Designed is one of the best across India. All thanks to it's FFCS concept.
- Placements that are offered by VIT is above par when compared with other private colleges.
- Provides Sport equipments for free when ID card is submitted.
Dislikes
- Strict campus life with a CCTV or a guard always watching you.
- Construction campus with new developments ongoing which results in noise and inconvinience.(Chennai Campus)
- No Management member to guide you as you are on your own.
Placement Experience:
After 6 sem the B.TECH students become eligible for campus placements. The total offers offered is around 900 for the year 2023. Some of the top notch companies visit here like amazon, microsoft, intel etc.
VIT claims that is has a Average package of around 9.23 lakhs which is mostly true and most of the students who are interested in placements get placed.
After getting the degree i'll work for few years and then later go for higher studies as VIT has a good brand name which helps students in higher studies.

- Some pointless rules such as no kettles, electric items in hostel
- Behavior of some staff towards students (Not always but a few times)
Placement Experience:
Since this is my first year of study, I have very little details regarding placements, but there are a fair of companies which have come in the previous years and the package is dependent on the student's skills.

- The huge number of events- both technical and cultural, held in the College are great.
- The facilities and prompt action upon complaints is amazing.
- The ffcs system provides great flexibility and also there's this rule where 9 pointers don't have to follow the 75% attendance rule that's very good and provides a lot of time to follow other interests.
Dislikes
- The rules are very strict for girls, in time is 8 pm and there are many clothing restrictions.
- The student intake is very high due to which there is huge competition everywhere. There are crowds even for lifts and mess food.
- The procedures for outings and leaves, especially for girls, are really strict.
Placement Experience:
Companies start coming to the campus from the beginning of the 4th year (7th semester). Average placement are around 8L PA. Many companies visit the campus. I plan to take a job from the placements after getting my degree.

- Many activities other than just academics for students to grow.
- Cultural festival of vit is amazing and everyone should experience it once
- The academics and exams are fairly easy here.
Dislikes
- Too much focus on exams. There is an exam after every 10 days
- Too much focus on English literature which students already learn till 12th
- Hostel life here is not that good as there are too many rules to be followed which feel unnecessary at times.
Placement Experience:
The placement percentage here is around 99-100 percent with the average package being around 8-9 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered last year was a whopping 1.2 crores per annum. Many companies like Microsoft visit the campus for placements.

- The academic facilities provided within the campus.
- It is really easy to get mentors within VIT and they are a valuable asset to your academic growth.
- The people and social life in VIT especially outside class hours.
Dislikes
- The lack of freedom within the campus and hostels, even when it comes to academic matters.
- The subpar mess food and the occasional insolent treatment from faculty.
- The insane restrictions on personal freedom, especially for girls.
Placement Experience:
Students can sign up for placements from the 7th semester. The highest package as of the previous session was 1.15 crores with an average package of 6 lakhs. VIT boasts a 100 percent placement record but the students who can attend campus placements are 7.5 cgpa plus students, which significantly cuts down the actual placement percentages. My plans in VIT are to get placed in a company offering a position of 10 lakhs plus LPA.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles. Accenture, Adobe, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and others were among Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's top recruiters in 2022.
