Course Curriculum Overview:
The course and curriculum is updated every year and it would be reviewed by a lot of people. I took this course as there was a lot of scope for this in the present as well as the future. There are in-lab sessions which help the students to learn them practically. They encourage students to do projects on their own or in collaboration. There are two CAT/mid term exams, and one FAT/Final semester exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I was inclined towards electronics and computer engineering and it was a newly launched interdisciplinary course that's why I opted for it. I am now well versed in both the departments and hope to continue well

Likes
- Good cultural fests, transport availability, sports.
- Good faculties, infrastructure, and other facilities like Dominos, a cafe, 2 canteens and other shops.
- No ragging or bullying in campus, as strict actions are taken against it.
Dislikes
- Population is high, and placement competition is high.
- Some labs are very bad, systems being slow or not working at all
- Some faculties being too strict and hard to work with and giving too much unwanted work
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements during 4th year (7th semester), but we get internship opportunities during the 5th and 6th semesters, but we can only attend them during 7th semester. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, PayPal, Morgan Stanley, and many more visit our campus. Due to recession, the number of companies visited last year was only 550, but the year before, about 850+ companies visited our campus. This trend of recession is still followed and lesser companies will be visiting our college for the next year also mostly. Offers are usually ranging from 6-11 lpa on average and 25 lpa packages are also offered. Highest package ever offered was 1.02 Cr. 80% of students get placed. I'm planning to sit for placements after getting my degree, as higher studies are too expensive for me. Also the student population here is too high and because of recession lesser companies are coming to campus so getting placed has been hard for the last 2 years.

- The education quality of the college and the opportunities and placements provided
- The cultural fest and sports fest and the opportunities provided to students through these platforms.
Dislikes
- The food in hostel is very bad and the food street has expensive food which also has very average taste
- The fees seems to be very expensive if you get a higher rank and its also near impossible to obtain scholarship with this much competition.
- The library is always crowded as the books are limited only to engineering as no other books are available.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty of the the college is good as compared to other collleges in their competition.The college has flexible curriculum as it offers Choice your own degree program to students, the which the students are provided with options to choose the perfered subjects and area of specialiozartion regardless for their pergrams.the faculty of the college are real world experienced workers and the people who have specialized in there respective feilds.
The college curruculum for first year is mainly textual based rather than practical based which needs to be focused as students tend to get bored graining only textual knowledge.The faculty upload all material for examination on online platform know as vitop in which students can access every faculties notes and assingments.Vit conducts total 3 exams in one semester which consists of two cats and one fat examination which is conducted in intervals of 1-2 months each.The difficulty of examination in normal to hard range.

- The campus is well maintained and very green.
- A great exposure is provided to students and regular events are held.
Dislikes
- The rules are extremely strict which restricts us from doing many things.
- The college is overpopulated and campus sometimes feels conjusted.
- Students can not go to other hostels to meet their friends or study along with them
Placement Experience:
The college provides ample opportunities for campus placement.
Students become eligible for campus placement after their 5 semesters and can give interviews in companies based on their CGPA.
There is a huge list of companies which visit every year, some of which are Google, Microsoft, oracle, Meta, TATA etc
The placement ratio is very good and almost every student is placed in some or the other company unless they opt for further studies.
I plan for campus placement after getting the degree.

- They will contain many club activities and everyone can participate in it.
- The time table is fully freely flexible( we can choose our own time table)
Dislikes
- in our 2nd year 2nd semester , they completed our semester in 3 months , we even wrote our exams on sunday, Sometimes we even wrote 2 exams per day.
- Hostel and mess fees are very high if we compare for what they are providing for us.
Placement Experience:
The placement our college will provide is very low, it's decreasing comparatively for every coming year. From the Third-year students will be eligible for the placements, in the year 2024 the number of companies visited for 4 branches is 504 companies and the total number of students placed is 7,000 students. The highest package is 1.04 crore and the average package is 8,00,000. Sixty percent of students are placed.

- Over rushed foot paths and has more strength than expected.
- Maintainance of mess food in the VIT hostels.
- Over rushed elevators and cafeterias are quite irritating.

I choose this course, since it has the integrated of Masters of Technology along with Bachelors of Technology. The course is five years course. So that we can complete the Post graduation at a time without any other entrances.

Placement Experience:
In fourth year first semester you will be alligible for campus placements.
They will be discussing about our placements and criteria to elligle in the before semester. Last year nearly 400 companies visited and the average package is around 9 lakhs.
Arround 9000 students got placed in oncampus placements.
My plans are to aim placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is actually up to date and many contemporary subjects were also added to the course but the faculties are kind of okay that is they are not that engaging. some times you understand better from YouTube than from any teacher,. solving techniques were also outdated overall faculties have a good track record and history in academics but they don't have any basic explanation skills as sometimes they even fail to convey some basic things apart from academics and some faculty are chill understanding the above conditions bit some are particular in marking and fail you without any proper cause.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles.
