Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of IT at Heritage Institute of Technology has a really good curriculum and is valuable for the future. The college has really good faculties who encourage you and are extremely knowledgeable. The faculty: student ratio of the course is also good approx(1:30).

Good choice fir CS - IT branch

Placement Experience:

Under wbjee, it is one of the most prestigious colleges due to its on-campus placement of CS -IT(more than 90% gets the job). Mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture take most of the students And tech giant Amazon also visits the college for internships. After which many gets PPO. This year 2 to 3 students got jobs I'm google. Heights package is 35 lacks and min package is 3.5, making a good average of 7 lacs.

Good Institute with perfect Placements!

Placement Experience:

Getting jobs from our college is not a big problem. Due to the high rate of a job giving our college is at the top in Kolkata. The student doesn't need to be that much worried about getting jobs if he/she studies at Heritage Institute I can guarantee that. After reaching the 4th year level or from the 7th sem onwards the students get the opportunity to get placed after clearing the interview rounds which are being organised by the college. More than 100+ big to small companies are in collab with our college so there's no tension regarding getting the job vacancy. There are plenty numbers of vacancies available in so many companies. The main companies like TCS, Wipro, Bajaj, Godrej, SAIL and many other companies come and recruits from our college. Till now 9.6lpa was the highest package offered and average packages range between 3.5-4 LPA. More than 60% of students get placed every year. That's an achievement for our college. My plan is got attend the job through placement by the college.

Join the mechanical group of Heritage institute!!

Placement Experience:

The placement part is the best part of our college. The placement cell is very active and they always try to clear their students with the job they want. Due to the tie up with so many companies the vacancies for students are also in large scale. So the students don't need to worry that much. The students become eligible to get placements after getting into the 4th year to be precise when they reach 7th semester. So after sitting in couples of interview rounds when the candidate crack the round he/she gets selected by the company for their job offerings and aftr the course completion you can easily join the office. The highest package offered as of now is around 9.7lakh pa. And the average packages offered varies between 3.5-5lakh pa. So that's a decent pay scale according to me. The rate of students getting placed is very high. Its almost 65% per year. That's the success rate of the college. My plan is to join the job offered by the college campus as a mechanical engineer!!

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placements to almost every students those who study here. The students become eligible for getting into job interviews after they reach the 4th year, to be precise when they reach the 7th sem or so. After that they clear the interview round they become eligible for placements into their desired companies. Every year about 60+ companies comes and most of the students gets picked up by the companies after cracking the interview rounds. The highest package per annum was recorded at 9.7 lakh pa and the average package being offered is around 4lakh Pa. So that's a decent deal for a newbie to the company. After getting the degree my motive is to join the state govt electricity board to serve my state.

Best for getting job

Placement Experience:

From the 4th year, students become eligible to apply for a job interview. After the completion of their respective course they can directly join the company they got selected in. Personally, I have been selected by Bhushan steel in the power section. After the completion, I'll be joining there as a trainee engineer. The highest package offered to date was about 9.8lakh pa. And the average being offered is around 4lakh pa. Almost more than 60% of students successfully get placed every year in big companies. My plan after getting the degree is to join the Bhushan steel company in the power section as I have been selected there. Hope everything goes well.!

Being Mechanical at Heritage!

Placement Experience:

In our college the job placement is excellent. Almost all the students get jobs with minimal efforts from their side. College does that all major things for them. Students become eligible for the campusing after they reach the 4th year level in B.Tech. after the 7th sem college sends the students for the job interviews organized inside the college campus where the interviews happen. After getting selected the students are reserved and after the successful course completion they directly join the job office they were chosen for. So that's a simple process. Almost 70+ companies visits our college every year so job placement is almost guaranteed for each students. Companies like TCS, Wipro, mindtree, CapGemini, Infosys,TATA Steel etc. The highest package offered till date was around 10.5lac pa. And lowest or average package offered is around 4lac pa. So that's a decent amount in the starting. Around 70%+ students gets placement every year. My plan is to join as a mech engineer!!

heritage institute of technology is a worth place

Placement Experience:

I had one more reason of the placement to take this University. Companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, among others, come to college for on-campus recruitment others were Cognizant etc. and DXC Technology provide a decent solution in this area. The average package in my batch was between 3 and 4 LPA. There were several internship possibilities available. I had personal assistance to take for the interview from the University.

The placement of the college is also good. The college management and placement committee work together for the placement condition. The college placement committee members are well trained and highly qualified and with their knowledge, they also guide us during the time of placement. The highest placement offer of the college is around 18 LPA and the average placement offer is around 10 LPA.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
