placements are awesome here being affiliated with Punjab university (tier -1) we have a decent placement in uiet chandigarh (CSE). companiers for providing internships start coming from 5th semester onwards. Companies visited are - Microsoft, Amazon,infosys ,bharti airtel, etc. Infosys provides 70+ offers as per recent records.

Intership drives start from the 5th sem onward here and many students grab internships and some companies even offer Pre Placement Offers to students. Companies that recruited from UIET include Amazon, Microsoft , wipro , Goldman Sachs, TCS, Infosys, etc. Campus placments start from 7th sem onwards and more than 95 percent of CSE students get placed around 90 percent of IT students and about 70 percent pf ECE students the major recruiters hire for IT fileds only . The highest package was 31 LPA ,around 5 to 6 students got selected in amazon and 1 even made it to Google via Off-campus Placment. As per 2021 stats, 286 total students were placed on campus with average package of 6LPA and highest being 31LPA .There are good placmets for CSE and IT branch and above average for ECE branch.

As per the 2021 statistics 286 students were placed off-campus with an average package of 7 LPA and the highest package being 31 LPA. Over 5 students bagged an annual package of INT 30 Lakh from Amazon. Top Recruiters included Amazon, Goldman & Sachs, American Express, etc. A total of 50-65 companies visit the campus for placements. There are good placement records for CSE, IT, And ECE branches,

I got this college from JEE main entrance exam . Ihave no better options from this as this college has very low fees and excellent placement too. I have fill the form of jac chandigarh to apply for this university to get the admission I get this college in December 2020 and I am so much excited to get this that I can't explain .this college has excellent placement records and a good reputation and it comes under the top 100 ranking according to nirf the campus is so much beautiful but I have never visited due to pandemic in the whole country I have seen about this college on YouTube and on their official website.seniors are so much friendly in this college ,they help me in every situation. I think I have got a good College according to my rank in jee which is about 71000 approximately.the placement records may be changed due to pandemic otherwise it has excellent records . Many core companies came into the college and offer descent packages.i think the infrastructure is not so good as it was one of the oldest University in India but the main thing is that we get an outstanding opportunity to score good and exposure to wnhace ourself in every field of life and education.

I have an interest in computer science and engineering because I want to know how the process is done in any device using coding. All facilities are PhD holder and the teaching methods is outstanding. The student ratio is about 40:20. Two semesters exams and 4 minor exams.

It's a government college and the fact that it's the oldest university in India made me go for it. Especially it is recognised globally, and lies amongst top 50 universities in India. As for the bad aspects, department infra is the worst and placements are primarily just for CSE ,IT,ECE branch students.

Placement is good and one important thing placements are increasing day by day. From the third year itself, they will start to prepare for placement and you can take placement after the end of the third year itself.TPC which is the placement cell of uiet is very good. Campus placement is good for technical students. There is a low placement for non-tech students and nearly 0 placement for biotech students. Some big companies such as Amazon,Samsung , goldmen sach, also came for recruitment. Some consultancy companies also come for placement. One of the seniors is also placed in google. The highest is around 20--25 lac CTC and the average placement is 7 lac CTC. Nearly 70% percent students are getting placement. My first plan is to get a good job, gain some experience, then I will start my own startup.

Eligibility- After 6th sem Companies- Amazon, KPMG, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Samsung, HUL, Optum, ZS, and other top companies. Highest package-30LPA Average package- 7LPA Around 60% of students get placed, CSE, IT students see maximum placements and mechanical, biotech has very low placement percent. But many students crack exams like GATE, CAT every year.

Student are eligible from 7 semester to apply for placements. Highest package was offered by Google of 33 lacs. Average is of 6 lacs. In C.S and IT 100 percent placement take place. In ECE 80 percent. In EEE 70 percent. In mechanical and Biotech 40-50 percent.

The placement program starts from 7 semesters, the placement record is very satisfactory for CSE/IT/ECE student, about 90+ percent of students are placed with decent packages. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, TCS, Infosys (Mass Recruiting), Eicher Motors, TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc, are comes in the college. For mech/biotechnology/EEE placement record less than 40%. The percentage varies from company to company but the minimum is 6.5 CGPA. The average package is 6.5 lakh per annum. The highest package is 42 lakh per annum. From the last year 2020. I have gained all industrial knowledge and now I am just approving myself for the best company.
