UIET Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For IT/ CSE most of the students get placed and the average package is around 5.5 LPA. For other branches, the placement is not that great For IT/CSE, 70 percent of students get placed Major Companies : Delloite, ZS, Amazon, Jugnoo, KPMG, Infosys, Mu Sigma, Optum , Zscaler

Panjab University has a good reputation globally. The university offers a heap of opportunities in academics and sports. PU has support for a number of different sports like archery, shooting etc. UIET has a good faculty and infrastructure according to the fee structure. UIET also receives funds from govt for research and has specialised labs like DIC and E-Yantra. UIET had an average placement in 2016. However with time the reputation of college has got betterml. Companies like Amazon, Samsung have also started visiting the campus. Chandigarh is a good place to live and spend your college life.

The college selects students based on Mains score. As a Central Government university, the fees is not as high in other private colleges. Secondly, being situated in the middle of the city, gives the students ample opportunities and grow and gain exposure. The atmosphere of Panjab University is quite soothing and helps you to grow intellectually.

Many students opt for higher studies more than half of the students are selected in CAT and GATE examination of Mechanical engineering, corporate placement at the campus is also quite satisfactory. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, TCS, Infosys (mass recruiting), Eicher Motors, TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc.

Placement of cs and it branch is well but the placement of all other branches is not good. The placement in cs branch in 2019 is 101 out of 122.

Because It has a good placement and it's tution fees is low as it's a government college. And it situated in a good city Chandigarh. As it's awrded as Best University in sports in India if you have a intereSt in sports it will be very good for you. My personal reason was less fees and good environment. You can learn many thing besided studies there. It has a very big liberary which opens 24 hours.

Actually I want to pursue Btech from a reputed college So after giving Jee mains 2019 I thought this would be the best college I can get with this rank. As Panjab Univeraity is a brand in itself and also being a government college, fees was low compared to that of other colleges

Panjab University is one of the most Reputed University of India. University has scored rank 1 multiple times in various rankings. It is govt. owned university. University has diverse culture, open environment. Chandigarh is best place to live.

Placements start from 7th sem . Number of offers there 205. Around 90 % students get placed in the required and dream companies. My plans are to get a good job after my degree.
