Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

Reasons to choose SBSC.

Placement Experience:

This is one of the best thing of our college. We have almost all companies who come and take students from our colleges. Bcom(H) students are the most one who are placed. Big 4 , Bain & Co., JP Morgan are some big names who come to our college. Deloitte is one of the biggest recruiters from our college. We have students who have received 20 L PA packages too. Avg package revolved around 6.5 L PA.

Prestigious college at such a low cost.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements happen after completing the course. Various companies visit here which visit every top college with decent packages. The highest package is nearly 15l and the average package is nearly 4-5 lakhs. A decent amount of students gets placements every year. I will not be applying in campus placements as I am pursuing CA along with regular college.

Overall best collage among South campuses in DU

Placement Experience:

Students from the final year got placements from the cell. And there are many famous and reputated companies that come for campus placement. My plans after Bcom Hons is to study for MBA and want the best placement in reputable companies.

A overview of sbsc, the dream college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.com(h) because I wanted a specialization in economics. The faculty is just awesome, very cooperative and understanding, Teachers are highly qualified and mostly are ph.d holders. exams took place on a half-yearly basis twice a year. during Covid time it's not that tough to pass.

Placement Experience:

I did not attend placements so i do not have much knowledge about that. Mostly after 4th-semester students were eligible for placements. Many companies visited like Deloitte, KPMG, and many more as i do not know enough of the placements. I wanted a government job so i am preparing for that one right now.

Life at Bhagat Singh

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students were allowed to sit for campus placements. Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y and Wipro were the top recruiters and approximately 200 students were placed. The average package was 3.5lakhs and highest was 18lakhs per annum. I joined Deloitte USI after my graduation.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi : The Selfless Review

Remarks:

Overall recognition, crowd of the college, placements and exposure. Even since my schooling, it was my dream to be a DU student. Delhi University is well known for scholars and students who are good in academics as well as who are usually the cream of the 12th pass batch.I have searched on random websites on Google regarding the top 10 colleges of DU and I want to join a Co-ed college so preferences were, Ssrc, ramjas, Hindu, Venkateshwar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. As being in a general category it was quite hard to get a North campus, so landed on South Campus. On further research and information, get to know that SBSC is good one for Bcom Hons. So I decided to join it. Further alot of things were attractive and fascinating towards the college. As its being 70yrs of that college, I had my super seniors and seniors there, socities, teachers and even the canteen and infrastructure is also 8 out of 10. So it pleased me.

All about the college and it's environment

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) The bcom honours course is generally chosen by commerce students as the course offers more in-depth knowledge of the commerce. 2) The college has good faculty 3) The teaching method of the faculty is also good and they are Highly qualified from DU as well as other teachers and have good experience of teaching as well. 4 ) Two Internals of each subject happens and External take place in November and May ( it may differ sometimes).

Life at SBSC.

Remarks:

The College InfrastructureYess. Due to the lockdown I did not get a single chance to explore my college to the fullest. But I have visited 4-5 times and i think it is very well organized. It has all the necessary infrastructure and the basic facilities. I have seen the images of our library, labs etc. And i think it is all very well equipped with all the facilities.The AcademicsIm studying B.com prog. Though I have never seen my teachers. But the online classes have been very interactive all through and I really appreciate all the teachers and their hardwork. I think my curriculum considering the online mode of study includes all the required updates and developments.The facilities for evening students are very less so that's the main disadvantage of this college.I preferred QUORA and COLLEGE DUNIA for reading the reviews of this college before choosing it to study.

Courses:

The college offers eight courses related to business management, marketing, and science streams.
These include BMS, BBA, Fintech, PGDCSL, Digital Marketing, National Stock Exchange Certified Capital Market professional, Data Analytics for Business, and B.Sc(computer science).

Eligibility:

For Business Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), the students should qualify 10+2 with a total of 50% aggregate. The course duration is 3 years.
