The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

I think third year students become eligible for campus placements, although I myself have never applied so I might not have apt information. My plans after getting the degree are to do a masters in English only and then prepare for UPSC examinations.

Paradise!/Perdition! make thorough read.

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible to apply for placements even before the starting of his/her final year. The companies visited so far in the college for various job profiles are: 1. Deloitte 2. Coca Cola 3. Tresvista 4. McKinleys 5. Mindforce 6. Blockwiz 7. EXL Services Average packages of all these companies start from 3.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum. As I already mentioned our college mainly focuses on sales and marketing profiles which are directly related to commerce students. English Hons. students can also easily got the placement if they have the sales and marketing knowledge or had some background related to the concerned field. Hence, it's not a matter of any merit rather it is depended upon our personal choices. One of my friends also gets placed while struggling through various personal interviews and logical reasoning tests. For me, I have plans to continue my studies from MA English because I personally don't feel like working just based on my graduate degree.

Best college for commerce in south campus

Placement Experience:

Students are applicable for college placements after the 5th semester from which the companies come to the campus for recruitment. Many international and domestic reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment such as Nestle, Deloitte, KPMG and many more. The average package offered last year was 4 LPA and the highest going to 15 LPA.

SBSC - A trip worth of life

Placement Experience:

The average of more than 60% students gets placed each year with an average package of 3 LPA and with highest package of 8 LPA. Recruiters like KPMG, Deloitte, PWG, Nestle and many more companies are regular recruiters and majority roles offered are Analyst, Accountants and Content Writers.

A college worth to be a part of !!

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the college offers campus placement with a variety of public recognised companies and the biggest companies of the world too which are the big 4 KPMG, Delloite, PWC, E&Y. It has an impressive offer record having an average of 5LPA with the highest of 20LPA in jobs and several internships too.

Remarks:

Good reputation for B.Com. In old times when I took admission in 1987 (though I mentioned 1990 in Enrollment Year as there is no option for period pervious to 1990) we need to visit each college and submit separate form in all such colleges. The whole exercise was very cumbersome and expensive. Now the admission process in DU is online and students need to fill only one form online, which is quite easy and simple. I preferred Shaheed Bhagat Singh College as it had very good reputation for Commerce courses that time.

Placement Experience:

There is no such placement for geography students in their field. But if one has good speaking skills and communication skills, he/she will easily get a package of around 5 lakhs per annum. The highest salary package usually offered is 10 lakhs per annum for commerce students. Companies that visits every year are bajaj, kenstar, hp, Paytm and more. They offer the post of sales manager or HR. Around 50% of students from the commerce department got a job.

Placement Experience:

Most students who have completed the third year become eligible for campus placements that to from the commerce department mostly. The percentage of students getting placed lies in the middle. However, there are a decent amount of companies that visit the college during the placement time and give due recognition to the students for their work. Ask for my course and future plans are concerned I wish to do my post-graduation and literature and venture into the field of writing, editing and creating content

I have never been in college placement. I've just registered for the same and waiting for what will happen next. There are some criteria for registration that the students must belong to this college only, they must have scored more than 6.5 cgpa.

College life - Worth living!

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the fourth semester. The college has an amazing placement cell which has shown their excellent performance by bringing 25+ new companies on our campus as compared to the last year. Even in covid times, they succeeded in bringing such new and highly talked companies such as DE Shaw, Bain and company, Grant Thornton etc. The highest package which was offered last year was for 21 lakhs. Various profiles from a financial analyst, Article Assistant, Audit and Assurance, Junior analyst etc were offered. All the students who get enrolled in placement drives have a 71% higher chance of getting placed. Among the students who got enrolled, 65% were successfully placed. My plans after getting the degree are to work as an article assistant in one of the reputed firms.

Courses:

The college offers eight courses related to business management, marketing, and science streams.
