BSc Agriculture First Semester Subjects

• Fundamentals of Horticulture - This includes the definition, branches, importance and scope of horticultural and botanical classification. It also includes the study of climate and soil for horticultural crops, plant propagation methods, pollination, fertilizer application in horticultural crops etc.
• Fundamentals of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology - This includes the importance of Biochemistry, properties of Water, pH and Buffer, Carbohydrate, proteins, Lipids, Structural and properties of fatty acids, structural organizations of proteins etc.
