Admissions to BSc Agriculture in Telangana are done based on the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Other than this, applicants who have successfully secured a rank in the ICAR AIEEA UG can also apply for admission to BSc agriculture.

The Registration for the TS-EAMCET 2025 exam for Telangana BSc Agriculture Admission will be conducted between March 1 – April 4, 2025. Also, TS-EAMCET 2025 Exam Date can be scheduled for April 29 – April 30, 2025. Admit card release date and other dates related to counseling and seat allotment will be notified soon. Check News.

Other than BSc Agriculture admissions, admissions to BFSC and BVSc are also done through the same entrance exam. To apply for the exam an applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in class 12. Candidates are then allotted seats according to their scores in the exam.

Telangana BSc Agriculture Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria as laid out by the University. The eligibility criterion is as given.

  • Age: The applicant must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. The upper age limit is 25 years old. There is a relaxation of 2 years in the upper age limit for candidates with a category.
  • Educational Qualification: The applicant must have cleared 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent securing at least a 50% score. There is a 5% relaxation in the case of candidates belonging to categories.

Telangana BSc Agriculture Admission 2025: Counselling Registration

Applicants who successfully, then need to apply for the counselling process. Only those who secure a viable rank in the exam can apply for counselling. They can do so by following these steps.

  • Visit the official website of PJTSAU which is the body conducting the counselling and register yourself
  • Login using your credentials
  • If you are qualified, check the seat matrix and apply to the institutes of your choice

Telangana BSc Agriculture Admission 2025: Counselling Process

Applicants who successfully register for counseling will be able to go through online counseling. The counselling will constitute the following steps.

  • After successful registration, the counselling slot booking date will open
  • During the counselling, document verification will take place and choice selection will be done
  • After that, a candidate can choose to freeze his choices
  • On acceptance of a seat, allotment will be done
  • The applicant will then need to pay the requisite fees online

Ans: A total of 508 seats are available in the BSc agriculture course. Out of these 75 are in the management quota.

Ques: What are the total seats which are filled through AIEEA UG?

Ans: A total of 15% of seats are kept separate to be filled through the counselling process of ICAR, which allots seats to applicants from all over India.

Ques: Who can apply under Farmers Quota?

Ans: Applicants whose parent or family own and cultivate land sizing more than 1 acre can apply under this quota. 

Ques: What is the fee in the management quota?

Ans: An applicant applying for admission through management quota will need to pay INR 14 lakhs Per Annum in tuition fees.
