NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name of the companies visited :- Microsoft ,Amazon, Wipro, PSU, Adobe ,Arcesium ,intuit, Swiggy. Highest package :- 80LPA and Average package:- 15LPA. 70% students are getting placement. I will try for placement .

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Lots of companies including tech and core companies visit the campus for placements. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Swiggy, Facebook, Wipro, Atlassian, LG soft India, Cummins India, IOCL, BPCL, APDCl etc visit the campus. Highest package offered is of 86 LPA and average package of our branch is 14 lpa. PSUs also hire students directly. Above 95% of the eligible students get placed from EIE every year. I would like to do job after my BTech.

cse and ece placements are great around 95 percent placemnt last year it was 100 percent microsoft adobe google facebook wipro and various other companies but apple didnt came highest is 85 lpa last year and average is around 26 lakh in cse batch would like to join companies as a developer but not by studying dsa but web development and otherthings

Placement is excellent for mba in marketing and highest placement is 12 lpa and for mba in finance highest is also 12 lpa but only federal bank hires for both the specialistaion alsomost 50 percent of the batch is placed till yet and HR spevialsition is suffering lack of opportunities in campus. so they are applying for offline companies and still hope that they will get placed in campus itlself. companies include honda , dabur, hDFC AMC , idbi, CCD, berger

College placements are decent for core and as well as in It. Campus placements will start from 7th semister from 7th sem every student is eligible .almost every year highest package is around 83lpa and avg package is around 15lpa in our branch almost 96 percent will be placed in every year. I want to prepare for upsc after my graduation

Our Campus placement are good almost 95 percent of our branch will get placed almost above 100 companies will visit our college which includes big guant mnc's highest package is around 83lpa and avg package of our branch is around 17.7lpa my plans are to do myech after completing my btech

This placements are quite different while comparing to past years, At present i am pursuing third year in the college i should get an internship but many companies are not supported to give internship as recission in the IT sector. Most of our seniors and friends are interested in Coding and software jobs,these companies are more hectic this year.Hopefully we are thinking next year could be better. one of the most important recruitment company to our college Optum it can take around 50 to 60 people from the college, but this year it couldn't recruited. Hightest packages varies by off campus and on campus , on campus it nearly 50 to 60 lakhs and off campus around 80 lakhs per annum.97 Percentage of students getting placements. I have some plans after my degree is to focus on my wealth and investment into the stocks. Exploring the world.Make my parents proud and Spending more time with the family.

Students become eligible for placements from 7 semester and for internships from 5 semester In the placement session of 2022-23 a total of 200 companies visited making 750 offers to 650 students The highest package was 80 LPA and teh average was 15 LPA.the average for CSE was 25 LPA

From 6th semester the campus placement used to get eligible. In our college as for the records the companies thet visited are microsoft, TATA, INFOSIS and many more and they used to offer atleast 60 lacs. The highest package in our collegeis 80 lac for this year and on an average it is 25 lacs. The percentage of students that get placed is above 96%. My plans after degree is to become an esport player thats is.

For campus placements students are available from 3rd year onwards. The companies visited are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Ola, Uber, Accenture etc. The highest package is till now is 80 lakhs and average is 20 lakhs per annum. placement percetage is near about 90 percents. After getting degree I apply for PSU's for a good package by giving GATE exams and got a good rank in it.
