NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students are eligible for campus placements from 6th sem.Amazon,Goldman Sachs,Byju's,Google are some companies.The highest package was 80LPA and average was 14.39LPA.Above 80% students get placed here.Joining the company that I will be offered in the placements.

from 7 semester student become eligible for placement , Google, Microsoft ,Nvidia , there are a lot of offers given, highest package is around 55 lakhs and average package is around 15 lakh almost 95 percentage student get placed jhbljhbh

The placement process starts in the seventh semester and the companies that visited this college are Microsoft, adobe, Indian oil etc and the average package offered was around 1200000 and the highest package was 55lpa

Placement stats are quite good in our college. From 7th semester onwards, students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. Highest ever package given is 80 LACS per annum and average package is 14.4 lacs per annum. 89.40% students get placement every year. My plans after getting my degree is to do the start up.

HIGHEST PACKAGE IS 80LPA WITH A BASE SALARY OF 20 LPA . AVERAGE PACAKGE IS 13-14 LPA OF THE COLLEGE AND FROM CSE BRANCH IT IS 18LPA. 93% STUDENTS GET PLACED LAST YEAR IN OUR CAMPUS . I WILL GO FOR A JOB IN COMPANIES LIKE MICROSOFT AND GOOGLE . CAMPUS PLACEMENT IS VERY GOOD IN OUR CAMPUS , YOU CAN ET YOUR DREAM JOB IF YOU WORK HARD .

course cirriculum is little outdated but it is the same that is being followed in other NIT's. The cource is pretty useful and can help you in real world applications but it needs some improvements like teaching in non tradditional methods like without using the textbooks. The exams and assignments are quite frequently conducted, mainly we have Mid-Sems and End-sems. Others are tests and assignments which carry internal marks and grading. The difficulty is not very hard, it is manageable if done regularly.

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester and most of the students get very good placement with decent packages. if we see the figures we can see that avg package of CSE above 24 lpa. So there is a great opportunity to get a good job

From the third year or 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement or internships. Almost 80-90 percentage of students get placements from the placement cell. Students can also go for outside campus placement after getting the degree.

Here placements is so good and many top companies are approaching to the college students here having good opportunity for the placements average placements is about 13lakhs per annual combining all branches

from 3 year 2nd semester students are eligible for the campus placements. amazon, flipkart, microsoft, capegemini, tech mahindra etc. highest package was 80 lpa and the average package was 24lpa. 95-98% every student will get placement. my another goal to prepare for civil services.
