NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Microsoft Google Oracle Infosys every big company visit this campus. 50 lakhs around is highest package. More than 90% students get placement. I will go for off campus placement for any PSUs

Placements of NIT Silchar is quite decent. The median package offered during BTech and Mtech placements of 2023 stood at 13.95 LPA and 6 LPA respectively. A toatl of 694 students were placed out 694 students were placed out of 823 students.

Students become eligible for placement in the last semester only but ofcourse they can get PPO during internships . For core jobs psu and other companies like tvs , jcb etc come. For tech jobs Infosys ,goldmans sachs ,cognigent etc come . Highest package was 54lpa, average was 11 lpa . 90% of students gets placed .

placement is not upto the mark for core only few company visit for core placement.with an average package of 7lpa. but it companies gives large amount of package so you can opt for that.but you can also sit for non core placement.

Placements are provided from the beginning of third year, fifth semster, when companies start visiting for internships. On average, more than 100 companies visit the campus and make offers. Total number of offers made would be around 600. Companies like Amazon, AWS, Deloitte, Capegemini, Microsoft, Uber, Swiggy, Paytm and PSUs visit the campus. Highest package offered was 52 LPA and average package was around 14 LPA. More than 95% students get placed.

Placements of NIT Silchar is very good. The Highest package this year is 1.2 cr LPA . The average package is 26 LPA. The highest placements are from CSE, ECE and EIE departments. 100% placements from CSE dept. in the year of 2023.

Students start doing internship from 2nd semester itself but only through scholarship program. Usually internships are done from the end of 4th semester during the 2 month summer break. Highest in campus package goes upto 60 lpa.

The placements are seemed to be outstanding at NIT Silchar as the highest package was grabbed from CSE department of 80lakhs per annum. The students basically become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. The companies visited: Atlassian - 80akhs per annum Myntra- 35 lakhs per annum The percentage of getting placements is 98% To get a decent placement upto 15-20 lakhs per annum as the placements for electrical is quite nice out here.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th Semester onwards. The name of companies visited are basically MNC's and unicorn companies and the highest offer made was 80lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed are around 98-99% . My plans after getting the degree is that to get placed in any MNC's.

Placement is good in my college students are eligible for placement after 7th semester for intership students are eligible after 5th semester. Companies like amonze,microsoft,atlesian,goldmansachs,samsung many more compinies visite every yaer.amzone 3 students 45lakhs and microsoft 2students 43latks and atlesian given 86lakhs but i have no idea on exect no but i say that globe top campanies come for campus recurit each year. Highest package-86lakhs and avg-13.5lakhs last year 85-90% students get palaced last year and In CSE it was 95% in 2023 and 99.9% in 2022 . Almost most of the get placed but if some them didn't get it they go for higher studies. My aim is to get placed in good companise with package so that i can support my family as soon as possible.
