NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Top recruiters like Pantaloons, Godrej, Google, Vodafone, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Vedanta, Amul, Reliance, Kotak Mahindra, etc participated in our on-campus placement drive and placed over 93% of my 2020 MBA batch. The average salary package offered by these companies was 4 lakhs, whereas the highest went as high as 7.2 lakhs. Our institute's placement cell played a very important role in our success.

I think from 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements there are many companies which visit our campus but we should maintain our GPA above 8.5 since I am mechanical engineer I wanted to clear GATE examination so that I can do M.Tech

The placements start from the 7th semester and many companies visit our campus some are google, amazon,myntra, Wipro, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc and we may get a maximum of three offers. the highest package is 39 LPA. the percentage of students getting placed is 98%.

I got the college based on my JEE Mains Rank. Also It has a huge campus and the placement records are quite satisfactory. I wanted to get enrolled in Electrical Engineering and based on my air in JEE Mains National Institute of Technology Silchar was the best option available to me.

cse is the most preferred branch here with a record of 100% placement is cse branch with an average package of 10,50000. for the overall average package is somewhat close to 7 lakhs. most of the top companies visit our campus every year, plus they provide internships also to college students. about 30-40% of students get more than one job. my plans after getting the degree are to get a job and later in the future open my own startup.

00% of students were placed from the CSE branch of our college. The highest package offered is 41.86 lpa while the average is 14 lpa for the CSE branch. Top recruiters were Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, Oracle, Samsung etc. About 70% of students get internships every yr in different companies as mentioned above. The average placement for the CSE branch is very good and our average package is increasing every year. Students start giving interviews after 3rd year. Our college is visited by many reputed companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs. This year our college average placement was 13 LPA and the highest package was 43 LPA. Even a 48LPA job was offered but no one was able to crack the interview. Almost everyone in the CSE branch gets a job. But if you are not from the CSE department then the placement here is average.
