Remarks:

Our institute is Neat & clean. We have very good nature here. We get to know people from different states. Our College has very good canteen. It is very good. Every hostel is cleaned We have very big Ground in which there is good all ground basketball court tennis courts Gym etc.

Placement are very good for my branch almost 100% people got placement every time in computer engineer. About intern that thing is also very fine almost 65% people got intern this year thought college.

Remarks:

positive in placement and negative in study. here study is not important because it contains old curriculum so students have to update themselves manually to new technologies. but placement is good

Remarks:

During my JEE-Mains choice filling, The Institute stood 2nd among the other 31 NIT'S. I chose Electronics as my main stream because I am Interested that field. I chose SVNIT because it is college of National Importance.

Remarks:

It's a government institution. Don't expect things to be moving at the pace you want. Everyone does their work with their own convenience. They are least concerned with your problem. The quicker you accept it and get used to it, the better will be your life in the institute.

Admission:

The admission process is quite common among the engineering students. it's basically through JEE Mains. Once you clear the cutoff your counselling session starts & you can move ahead with all the procedure. Counselling happens through JOSAA. and special round occurs through CSAB.

Admission:

Entering into this college isn't that easy. All you need to do is study hard during your 11th & 12th for JEE Mains and then finally wait for the results. JOSAA counselling starts after the result comes & then there you go with the 7 rounds if you clr the cutoff.

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
