I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

NIT Surathkal College Review

Remarks:

I choose NIT Surathkal as it is highly reputed college. Also it has 13th rank in NIRF ranking.The physics faculty present here is too good which made me to prefer this college over other colleges. To get this college you need to get a decent score in IIT Jam exam. Also the campus is too beautiful.

NITK - The beach beauty

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students become eligible for placements Amazon, Flipkart, Uber, Morgan Stanley, Mercedes Benz, D.E Shaw, Nvidea, AMD, Intel, and many such companies come here 57 LPA 90 percentage plus get placements My plan is to study more depending on the future.

NITK College Review by a fresher

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and the professors are also good. In NITK. in NITK the faculty-student ratio is 1:10. All faculty are highly qualified and they have good teaching skills. Quizzes are frequent and the difficulty level is also medium although there are some exams which are relatively tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Was interested in ece course and I had many others to guide me in this field. Faculty: student ratio would be roughly 1:15. Qualification PhD in Andhra University. Term exams were frequently conducted for 5 months once. Passing them was easy if paid attention during classes.

Placement Experience:

Students after 6 th sem are eligible for campus placement. Also various companies like Amazon, Google , Microsoft and various 450+ companies visit our college during campus placement. According to last year statistics some 75% people of our college got placed with avg package of 6-7 lakh per anum.And highest package was about 52 lakh. My plan after getting the degree is to do job, i.e to take campus placement.

A honest review of NITK SURATHKAL by a ECE student

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year gets oppurtunity to sit for internships. While students of last year gets to sit for campus placements. The companies which had made the highest no of offers are Oracle India, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Walmart , CISCO Systems, Myntra, VISA Inc. ,Tata Hitachi, Google, Samsung R&D, Citi India, Qualcomm, Arcesium, NVIDIA, Deollite, Paypal, BOSCH, Morgan Stanley, Intel Technology, Flipkart, L&T ,GAIL, Texas Instruments, Caterpillar etc. Highest CTC --- INR 43 LPA Average CTC--- INR 17 LPA In 2020 total students were 1293 among which 977 got placed in the Btech program. I wish to get into Amazon after getting my degree.

All about NITK

Remarks:

Its the second best NIT college in India. The placement statistics are excellent. The teaches are also nice. The food, environment and a private beach is a wonderful combination for any location and NITK perfectly fits in that.

NITK- A great college for core branches, even greater for Coders. for

Remarks:

The nice campus, good NIRF ranking. NitK has Great Alumni network in every domain. And it also has a very good coding culture. However it lacks in research like any other IITs or NITs. Professor to student ratio is very good in my department and hence profs.can focus more on individual students, this attracted me to this college.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
