I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

To bright your future NITK is the best place

Placement Experience:

From 7 th sem itself students are eligible for placements Many multinational companies like Microsoft ,Amazon , google will visit our college every year. All most all people will be recruited. Highest packages will be 45 lakhs and average packages will be 8 lakhs and 9 lakhs. 92 percentage of students get placed last year and remaining will choose higher studies and startups. I am planning to get the job in multinational company.

Placement oppurtunities Average package-17 lakh for computer science programme Nirf ranking-13 Campus atmosphere-good infrastructure and a lovely private beach and a campus wide spread of 300 acres Placement success percentage-100 percent placement for computer science programme for those who opted for job. Opputunities for further studies All round development. These are the factors that made me choose nitk.

NITK Surathkal the best NIT in terms of placements and also overtaken many IITs in NIRF Rankings. It's the best Engineering college in Karnataka. It is the only college in India to have its own Private Beach. It is very close to a lot of tourist attractions.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
