I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Remarks:

Best CS department in Karnataka. Highly ranked state NIT in Karnataka. Highly competitive to get in. Very smart peers, knowledgeable professors. Best in class facilities for optimal learning and very nice placements

NITK IS GREAT

Remarks:

The First thing that everyone should look for is that what is the placement percentage there in the perticular college and branch.So NITK is one of the top NIT(i guess is is 2nd among NIT's) when it comes to the placements.In IT and CSE there is almost 100 % placements and in other branches it is around 80% and that is very good compared to many other collges even better than some iit'sAnd second is the mess food of NITK It s not great for the first year but it will be very good from 2nd year onwards .And the last thing is the BEACH Nitk has it's own private beach which is why NITK was my first choice among all other NIT's

A short review of NITK

Remarks:

The research funds are more hence opportunities to work on real time projects, the quality of other students, the brand value of the college and the program is inexpensive. The college puts a lot of focus on extra curriculars. The Professors are very knowledgeable and are always available to havr a chat or support you for a project.

7th sem students are eligible for placements Lots of companies visit the campus and the percentage placed is close to 90%. Packages range from 3lpa to 40lpa My plan is to continue my learning experience in whatever I do in future

After the end of the 5th-semester, pre-placement works will be started. Nearly 100-140 companies will visit every year for hiring students. In-circuit branches there is nearly 99 percent of placement and in noncircuit branches like a mech, civil, chem metallurgy, mining the average placement percentage will be around 80- 90 percent. What NITK offers you?

Remarks:

Chose because of strong reputation, good research outputs, great placement statistics for Computer Science. College was in top 10 in National Rankings during that period. Second Best NIT in the country. Good over all atmosphere, combination of cultural and academic activities

Collages are the temple for students which teaches how a person should lead a life

Faculty members are good to students I chooses CS because I loved computer student ratio was likely 400 and we'll qualified faculty time was given to prepare and write exams it was not that difficult to pass

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
