IIT Kharagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It is highly relevant. We have labs whoch increases our understanding and gets us close to real life applications. Each semester is of 4 months and we have mid semester and end semester exams in additional to the class tests

The placement in Our college is quite good.Normally around 80% of the people get placed through CDC which is the on campus organisation that connects students with companies.The placement cell even provides some foreign internships and jobs due to immense amount of connections they have around the world.They even conduct workshops to help the students know about the industry and acquire soft skills which are needed to get placed.

From 5th semester we can get internships and in 4th year we will get placements. Many companies like Amazon Google IBM... Etc visit us for placements there are about 70 companies that visit us. According to google: 1,675 students out of 2,490 registered were placed in 2022-23 batch I wanna do an software job and my dream is to become an employee at google

in mostly 7-8 semester ending time placement is started in our campus companies likes= apple, capital one , google ,microsoft,mckinsey and etc. highest package = 2.6 crore per annum average package = 18 to 20 lakh per annum. 90 percentage student is placed

The placement statistics are very strong for my institute. The students are eligible for placements from their final years on the campus of their course. Many companies come such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, etc. The average package is around Rs. 25 lakhs per annum. Everyone gets placed.

The placement percentage is high and placement are good here than compare to other colleges and average package is good so I like my campus very much so but there are still some people with no placements in the campus

Students become eligible for on campus placements in 4th year while internships are provided in 3rd year. Nearly all of the most prestigious companies(Airbus, Accenture Japan, Da Vinci Derivatives, EXL, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Squarepoint Capital, N K Securities, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Jaguar Land Rover etc. ) in every sector visits the college and they collectively maid over 1900+ offers. Highesy package on campus was 2.6 crpa, while some people say highest off campus was 4+crpa and on campus average package is 24lpa which can increase for branches like CS, EE, ECE, MNC. In most of the branches 90%+ students get placed, in mechanical nearly 93% students got placed and for the above branched it goes to nearly 96%+ while in BArch or some lower branches the stats are a bit less for on campus like about 80% for barch and 70% for others. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job in robotics or related mechanical field.

Yes my course is too relevance and comprehensive. Course like aerospace Engineering is quite Interesting like we learn about control system, aerodynamic, design etc. the also teacg us about AI and ML.

B.tech student are eligible for placement after 6th semester and dual degree after 8th sem. Very less percentage get placement in start but are filled slowly in phase 2 and 3. Google Microsoft NVIDIA Texas Instruments visits our campus .

Students go through the Placement process during their final year. campus provides placement opportunities in big companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Salesforce, IBM, Sprinklr, Optivar, Rubric, Graviton, and many tech companies, and also core companies like Texas, Samsung, ITC, Bajaj, JLR and many others. More than 75% of students get placed through the campus placement process some students get their job form off-campus companies also
