JGEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students can avail themselves for placements from the 3rd semester, Many companies such as TCS, Infosys, Microsoft visit the college. A special department of the placement cell is dedicated to grooming students for placement interviews. Many students from the Computer branch get placed annually during on-campus placement. I am looking forward to getting a placement. However, I am also aiming to crack GATE and study further for MTech. One can also prepare well for GATE during studying in this college.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus placement. A company like TCS, CTS, Robart bosch, etc etc. The highest package is approximately 23 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. 75-80%student getting placement through campus placement. I plan to get a job in campus placement.

Basically from 7th semester campus recruitment get start, and TCS and Cognizant take participate at every year. These companies are just for IT based so for non IT department placement performance is poor. Till now 30LPA is offered to a student of our college, and at average 2 - 3 LPA is offered. But both companies recruits 30-40 students on average in individual. So easily I can say for IT or CSE 60-70% get placed. I have been planning for a job too, till now don't have any interest of doing master's.

7th Semester .There are many companies visited our college for placement honorable mentions are BOSCH, TCS, CTS Last year the highest package was 35LPA. In my department it's 90% Would like get a job in a IT company.

From the 7-semester campus, placements start. CTS and TCS visit every year and the individual take a good number of percentage among the students. The highest package till now is 30L/ annum. Average package 2.5-3L/ annum. The placement of mother trades is poor in performance. Mainly IT personnel get placed easily.

Students can apply for on-campus placements before their 8th sem. Various companies are visiting our colleges such as TCS, INFOSYS, and some more core companies, The number of product-based companies visiting the college is very less so one has to do it on his own if he\she wants to make it there. For example, just in 2020, some guy from the IT dept got a 30 LPA off-campus placement from the college, and it the topmost package from this college till now. I think every year 75 percent of the students get placed somewhere and get a package of 3-4 LPA average.

Placement drive is conducted in every year. Students can turn up for placement from 3rd year. Every department has its own placement drive programme. There is also a placement committe to conduct and arrange these drives.

There was a good placement in this year and side by side previous years too. Many companies came to the college and took the best student among them. So total there were more than 110 placements this year. Although the previous year's number of placement was less comparatively than this year.

Second best state govt. college for mechanical engineering. Faculties are very good. Very inexpensive course structure. Has a renowned reputation over the years. Provides hostel facility to students. You have to get into the college by securing a good rank in WBJEE or JEE

I have chosen this college because it is in under of Government. The college is within our state. Our college has a good record in successful student got internship, jobs, placement. The environmental of our college is so healthy for our education. Very good stuff faculty in our college, Seniors are very co-operative. These are the reason why I am in this college. And last point I also have some interest in Engineering.
