IIIT Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placements after completion of the 3rd year(6th semester). Dell, Accenture, Tekion, Deloitte visited this year with different roles. The percentage of students placed this year is approx 75%.

The placement scene is not very good and not bad also. The companies start coming from the 7th semester. Almost 97% percent of students are placed but the average on-campus package is 4LPA only which is bad. The highest Package is offered by Microsoft (43 LPA) and Amazon (30 LPA) on pooled-campus. You will get more and accurate information about the placement website of the college.

From the 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. Deloitte, TCS, Accenture, Tekion etc. Average package 8 LPA and max 25 LPA. 60% of students are placed on average. My plans are still not decided yet, I may apply for masters or jobs I haven't decided on.

From the 7th sem onwards students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Infosys, Mindtree, Wipro, etc come to the college every year and most of the companies are mass recruiters. The highest package is 30 Lakhs per annum recently one of the students got in Amazon. And about 90% of the students get an average package of about 10lakhs per annum. My plan is to prepare for many competitive exams like GATE, CDS, AFCAT, etc.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. You can check visited companies on the college website. Some of them are Tekion, Accenture, Dell. My plan is to get a job after or before getting a degree.

B.Tech students are eligible for placements from the 7th sem of final year. In 2021 batch the highest package was 12 lpa which was provided by companies like TurtleMint, CleverTap. In 2022, the highest lpa was maybe 25 lpa but I am not sure as I am 2021 passout. Profiles offered: Analyst, web developer and so on. 90 percent and above students get placements by February. Placements start from November end(7th sem). My plans after degree: pursuing higher studies.

Post 6th semester the Placement starts around the beginning of AUGUST. The average package is around 6.5 lacs. The highest fluctuate a lot and can range from 16-20 lacs to 30 lacs. Around an avg, 30 companies visit regularly. 90%+ placement in general.

At that time I wanted to join a reputed college and I kept many colleges but got this college. After that I search a lot of reviews from net and also asked some people about this college after getting good review I decided to join.

From 1st year only you become eligible to have internships. Later you get lots of opportunities to join Google or GSoC. Placements start from 3rd only but the average salary is quite low like 8-9 lakhs per annum. Well, you have a lot of placements and well you don't have core companies here. I will opt for the GATE after this.

Among the available choices.IIIT Bhubaneswar was best when it comes to avg package and quality of study. Infrastructure is no so good but hostel is residential. Also the avg package and highest package increased every year and good companies visit the campus . In the current passing year(2020) highest on campus package was around 40 lpa in Microsoft which is awesome.
