I think in my branch placement is not mainly considerable because we looks for doing research and we want to go in research field .we can go for internship like isro drdo like organizations so it good .

Mindbend one of the best technical fest with robo wars .

Dislikes

if you donot have 75% attandence then your grade will be decreased.
No nonveg is provided in the campus we need to go outside for it.

1. from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 2. microsoft - 10 offers, jpmc - 15 offers 3. highest - 45 lpa , average - 17 lpa 4. 80 percent of students are getting placement offers 5. to settle in a high reputed company with decent package.

Socio environment that had been generated with this community and can get to avail our talents
there have been many events in our college
there have meny clubs in our college which leads us to buils oueselves

there is 75 percentr attendance policy .
transporatation of the college ..like the buses and other
cleanliness of hostel and other things in the campus

Placements are very well in SVNIT institue and there have been many companies seeking for students in our college recently many big companies taking many talented students in their companies....it is very good in sense of placemnets

Likes

Campus life will be good provided you make good friends
Infrastructre needs some work, but you'll get used to it.
Faculty will depend from person to person.

Dislikes

Placement is at an all time low given the recession, not the fault of college tho.
Student body has the least say in the decisions of the college.
Sports facilities could be improved. For eg. football ground

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a bit difficult as ece is known for it. faculty is good. some faculty use PPT and do not care if you understand or not. Some are good. some lab faculty are not as good. Some subjects after the second semester make no sense

A journey through SVNIT

Likes

The students have freedom to do their extra curiculam activites.
The teaching is good, and also the placements and the interenships provided to the students.
The laibrary facility is good. Students can gain knowledge from books, journals.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good, as it is a old campus. The institutions has to consider this.
The facilities in the hostels are not good like wifi connection and mainly the food provided in the hostel.
The ration of the boys and girls is not good. Girls has only one hostels where as boys has 9 hostels.

Placement Experience:

At SVNIT, the journey towars securing promising career opportunities begins as early as the seventh semester for undergraduate students, marking the onset of the campus placement season.The companies like Mirosoft, Google,Amazon,TCS, Infosys among others, recurrently vist the campus to recuit talented individuals across diverse disciplines.The average package and highest will change yearly, on an average it will be around 10-20 lakhs according to the studies, the highets package will be 40 lakhs.Upon completing my degree at SVNIT , I am keen on pursuing a career in AI . Whether through campus placements or alternative avenues, I am commited to leveranging the knowledge and skills acquired during my tenure at SVNIT to embark on a rewarding professional journey.

Campus Facilities That the College Provides
Colleges which provide placement to students are good.
The classrooms and professors here behave friendly with the students.

Dislikes

The college campus is a little smaller than I thought
There is no cleanliness in most of the college campuses.
Some seniors in college do not behave well with juniors.

Placement Experience:

College also provides placement to the students and the students can also take off- campus placement.Placement starts from around 7th semester.And the company recognizes the capabilities of the students and gives them packages.

locality wise svnit is best place here you can have enjoyment.
campus environment is good and seniors are very cooperative and they support us
the package are nice we have very good average package for ece branch.

Dislikes

the hostel food is not that good especial for non veg pepole.
faculty are not good they are very strict for giving marks they used to afraid us for marks
the ece subject is very hard . pepole find hard they jump for non cre subject

Placement Experience:

for ece core placement are okay but here many for the person go for non core jobs. they code and most of the pepole go for software jobs. average package of the ece branch is 14.5 lakh which is pretty good. we had highest package 48 lakh and for non core job.many company comes here and also internship chances are also high.

The college is good.

Likes

We like the campus life of the college. There are many types of religious festival are held so we enjoying.
We like the sports activities. There are many types of tournaments are conducted in regular basis.
Here we like the library, where sufficient number of books are provided us.

Dislikes

We dislike the cricket ground , in cricket ground no grass available.
We dislike the infrastructure of the college
We dislike the attendance criteria that is 75 percent

Placement Experience:

Maximum students are placed but if some students are not placed then they are applied for companies for outside placement. Many students have qualified the get exam so that students go for doing M.tech and other student go for higher study or research.

It's a nice place though

The college has a better diversity compared to other colleges.
Campus Life is good if you don't indulge yourself in any of the clubs.
The faculties of Mechanical is one of the best with some exceptions.

Dislikes

The clubs and all are so time consuming that one would just stay in the club untill 4am.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum might be a bit outdated but the best thing about my course is that it's the best amount the Indian institutes i.e. SVNIT is ranked amongst the top for its mechanical engineering course in India due to its diverse course and working experimental apparatus.

Honest SVNIT

Hostel are very greatly made so that newcomers can intract with each other well and good room and facilities
Teachers are very supportive if you contact them well , they never disappoint in this matter
Safety, college ensures safety of all students very well and make us feel safe completely

Dislikes

Sometimes lab equipments don't work well so they should check them rather than we doing hit and trial
Night canteen and mess food in first year hostel was badd though in other hostel it became good
Some teachers don't do right grading especially mathematics one , they never given AA to any students tahts not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosen ECE because it affiliate computers and electronic devices very much along with rapid development in semiconductor industries it ensures us a great rise in apportunity for all of us. Curriculum is planned well but in first year some teachers are not appropriate as they came from different departments though from second year teacher staff seem well but they should focus on first year circulum I already told about exams and all

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
