Likes

Community like CHRD which stands for Centre for Human Resource Development.
CHRD includes clubs like Akriti, Raag, Malang, Kirdaar, Convex, Cinephilia and Design.
Akriti is for artists, Raag is for singers, Malang is dancers, Kirdaar is for actors, Convex is for photographer, Cinephilia is for movie makin.

Dislikes

I don't like some professor's teaching way.
Sometimes I don't like intime of the college.

Placement Experience:

Our college offered placements to the students. Also provied intership's oprtunities to the 2nd and 3rd year students. Many companies visit in our college like JPMC, Microfsoft, MasterCard, Visa, TCS, Adobe, AngelOne, PW, Reliance, Unacademy, IBM etc.

There are good library facilities will be given to student
Campus area is very huge than other nites
There are good faculty available in our svNIT

Dislikes

There are some bad rules like 75 percentage attendance
There are some weak infrastructures of NIT
Some of the faculties are not relevant for his subject

Placement Experience:

In our college there are very good placement facilities for the students and there are companies like Reliance JPmc etc. more than this companies also come in our college for placement and we have highest placement of 44 lakh and 18 lakh average placement and 85% of students was getting placements

Situated in prime location which help to people to buy which are required easily
Mess food here is decent so there in no need to go. Out for food regularly

Outside food here is very costly as stated it is located in prime location so its obvious

From 3rd year you can apply for PPO and placement starts in 4th year many people apply for internship from 2nd year too but to be frank that is not easy as. Competition is too high . average salary provided by the college is decent like 9-10 lakhs in my branch.

I am choosing a rich history and offers a comprehensive curriculum. Let’s delve into the details: Undergraduate (UG) Program: The UG program in Mechanical Engineering started in 1961. Placement Experience:

MANY COMPANIES LIKE MICROSOFT, MRF ,MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA ,L&T VISIT THE CAMPUS EVERY YEAR. THEY PROVIDE STUDENTS A GOOD PACKAGE. THE PLACEMENT RATE IS AROUND 95 PERCENT IN MECHANICAL BRANCH. THE AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 9LPA. AND HIGHEST PACKAGE THIS YEAR WAS 19 LPA. THE STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE IN THE 7TH SEMESTER FOR THE CAMPUS PLACEMENTS

There are very good facilities of reading in library
Sports,hostel and academic facilities are good
In our college there are very good placement and internship opportunities

Dislikes

Some of the professors are not good then also they are teaching us
Infrastructure of svnit is old. Required to be innovative
sometime decisions of academy will not good for the students

In our college there are campus placement. From 4rd year students will be eligible for campus placement and there are some good companies which are visiting our colleges like JP Morgan Reliance like that .

Seniors are humble and of friendly nature
Campus . I personally loved the campus .
Professor have good knowledge and experience.

Dislikes

Not allowing localites for having their vehicle inside the campus
Hostel food and water is of not good quality
Cricket and football is not properly maintained

Course curriculum in SARDAR vallahbhai national institute of technology is average. The labs are good. The professor's knowledge and experience is well.The exam pattern is regulated and is also up yo date.

A college that makes your future bright

Likes

The placement and internship of SVNIT is quite good . Moreover college offers good opportunities for future studies.
Both the fests , i.e Mindbend and Sparsh are very amazing. It offers very large amount of competitions which gives us both technical and non technical knowledge.
Svnit has a huge campus full of greenary and it has plenty number of games and playground

Dislikes

The campus requires 75% attendance. Even medical leaves are not accepted.
4 exams in a year is quite hectic and a single holiday is not provided between exam for preparation. Some times the exams collide with festival and fest.
The condition of road is not good at many places inside campus . Moreover vehicles are not allowed inside campus and neither we can park it on back gate.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts from 7 th sem . Companies that visit our campus are Oracle,JP Morgan, Visa , Mastercard, TCS, Infosys, Jio,Tata Elxi,Allen, Deloitte,JSW, Accenture, Cipla, Samsung , cipla and many more companies. The highest package is 44 lakh per annum. Average package is 10 lakh for whole campus and 17 lakh for CSE. The placement percentage is 83% for btech . For CSE it is 86%. Most probably I will opt for a good job from college. The above data is from previous year

Good college for placement

Library infrastructure and environment of library is very good
technical and managerial fests and campus area
Placement and intership opportunity in famous MNCs.

Dislikes

Mess food quality and hygiene is very bad
Academic curriculum is very busy and hard to manage
Attendance criteria is 75% is very hard to manage

Svnit has decent placement.avg placement of cse department in 2022-23 is 18lakh per anum.avg placement of svnit is 12 lakh per anum.placemnt cell of svnit is very active.jp Morgan,amazone, Deloitte, oracle, Infosys,tcs are main recurring companies for svnit .

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
