Life in svnit

Likes

Curriculum is uptodated more focus on core subjects of cse
Sparsh is the best event of svnit held in april celebrity night is the best
Library is the main attraction of svnit because of it good structure

Dislikes

Sport facilities are not that good ground is not well maintained
Campus cleanliness is little bit compromised
Student can feel burden of studies and academic pressure

Placement Experience:

Campus provide a good platform for placement to students in seventh sem companies started coming for hiring in colloge about 95 percent of cse student get hired in campus placement process Highest package for cse is 44 lpa in campus Lowest package was 8 lpa in campus

Not that much bigger campus but still good
Difficulty of study is very high in this college
Attendance policy 75 percent is must to survive

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in placement form last year of college and many companies come here every year highest package is 12 lpa and the lowest is 2.2 lpa percentage of placed students is around 50% as many go for higher studies. my plan is to do MBA after this degree

Likes

College environment, technical clubs, sports facilities, overall infrastructure.
Roads, greenery maintenance, library facility.
There are some top faculties(in 2% Indian scientist).

Dislikes

Mess food quality, in time in first year.
Some junior mentor in labs and in regular classes too.
Bus circulation should be more frequent.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester. Highest package offered by company is 49 lpa and the Average package is 13-14 lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is quite good. Average data is about 70-80% including all branches. I will take placement.

Water quality of hostel, roads are bad in campus

Placement are good 90%studenets got a placement in 7 th sem There is 80 to 90 company visit for in campus placement my plan is, after getting degree pursing Master in course avg pack for my, course is 10 lakh Highest is 17 lakh

Well define course outline in the field of the semiconductor industry as well as data communication aspects Curriculum prepares me well and majorly helps in my real-life academic preparations The course outline is very good but still, there must be scope for improvement.

Dogs are very headache on hostels and some times water problem in some hostel.

Placement Experience:

Placements os the mirror of any college. In 2023 70% of students are placed. JPMorgan, samsung, airtel, oracle ect. Highest package from 2023 is 44 in B tech and 48.7 Mtech. I do mtexh after complete the b tech.

Prime location is very helpful to students
Easy access to travel from college to station and bus station

Dislikes

Outside food is expensive which is not good
Culture is not very good a there is discrimination between Gujarati and non gujrati

Placement Experience:

In third year PPO is being started and you can get internship in 3rd and 4th year .many reputed companies come to the college which helps students to get job. 97 % percent placement is being provided last year 2023.

Svnit has a huge campus, and well managed
College has lots of clubs for exploring and experiencing new things
Teachers are highly educated and have well teaching skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course curriculum is well stabilized, there are classes 5 days a week, 3 days of lab, and 5 days of classes Timing for the lab is 8:30 to 12:30...and for classes, it is 2 pm to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday is a holiday. The faculties are helpful.

THE SVNIT SURAT

There is no ragging so the junior will feel safe in this college this is the really good thing that I liked the most in this college
They conduct many more fest like sparsh , spicmacay, raag, so that you can never feel desturbing by mental health cause every time you'll have been enjoying the fest
The teachers and seniors are really helpful. They helps is every situation if you're applying for internship and you face some problems then contact your senior directly

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very bad in this college. The campus is very big and the maintenance is very bad
The teaching style of teachers is very bad . They don't look up at every students , they only look up at the topper students
There is a deficiency of lab apparatus in labs and the apparatus which are present in lab are not work properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been love with physics and want to learn and research about physics . So this helps me out to take me admission in physics. The curriculum is really well mannered we're growing. Take the admission you're interested in. If you're studying daily then exam is not more difficult

Campus, yeah campus indeed, because it is the place where we will reside and i really like it the most, i know there are some garbage here, but yeah, overall campus is really sooo good...
Academic atmosphere is also very goid here, people around us are very academically inclined giving us motivation to work hard more and more.
I personally am a music lover, so the music club actually gave me a very good feeling, being a part of it is the best thing ever happened to me.

Dislikes

Bad hostel and mess facility, sometimes the outage of water really irritatated me a lot.
Huge academic load, i know we need to study but the number of classes is way too much.
75% attendence criteria, this is not goood, like we really need to go to boring classes when we are not learning anything...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overall good if you are actually instrested in chemical engineering. We get deep understanding from the 1st sem itself and professors are also tough, which overall makes us work hard and understand the subjects.

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
