Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester the placement starts to take place. Many famous companies like TCS, GOOGLE, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, AIRTEL ARE COMING. AROUND 80-90 PERCENTAGE OF students get placed average package in the year is around 12 lpa

Some people with rude behaviour, politics
Intime and attendance problems, sports facilities
No AC in departments,many under-construction buildings

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are amazing last year the highest was 44lpa from ECE only so yeah proud many MNCs come here to hire young and fresh talents. Packages are also good if you have the required skills and assets

roads of campus is not good there is lackuna in bathrooms

Placement Experience:

students can go for internships in 2nd year onwards and many students crack job placements in the last of 3rd year or many students go for a final year more than 100 companies visited last year 959 offers were offered 48.75 being highest and 12.86 is average but the median is about 9 to 10 lpa 85 per cent of students get placed in the overall branch my aim is ese and to go into govt sector

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is large and hectic especially for the electrical branch some faculty are good and some are chill but majorly are just fine exams are coming don't know much about them as I joined recently. study environment is good and supportive.

NIT surat is great!

I literally like the hostel as it was above my expectation.
infrastrucrure is good and still developing.
teachers are really good and highly qualified.

Dislikes

hostel in time for freshers is 7:30 pm for 2-3 months
no fee remission for msc students but for b-tech.
it is still in development phase and still growing

Placement Experience:

Students of the 7th or 8th semester become eligible for campus placements. There were many companies that visited nit surat for details you can visit our website. The highest package was 44 lpa and the average was 7 lpa. The placement percentage was 88% which was the highest of all time. My plan is to get a job only.

College is very good and very good environment to improve your self and campus life are very good.

Dislikes

Many i am not agree with that is they have to update how student should teach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My main reason for pursuing this course is. I want to learn maths from a good lecturer which will help in future upsc preparation and another exam. Faculty are absolutely brilliant they are very dedicated and they are mastered in mathematics. They are well qualified. I think they all are phd holders in their respective subjects. But something I miss they have to improve their teaching methods. My exam is not held yet but they are on time and I think they are difficult.

campus, the lush green campus in which we can roam around with our friends.
Library, SVNIT has the best library among all NITs.
the helpful seniors which help us in every situation

Dislikes

less infrastructure ass compared to other NITs.
faculty teaching is not so good for the first year students
rules are more and strict for first year students

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students of 7th semester are eligible, there are many companies that visit capus like samsung, miccrosoft, etc. The higest package is of 40 LPA, about 80 percent students gets placed my plans after getting degree is doing ajob for good company and then after some years I want to start my startup.

Likes

Teachers qaulities and way of teaching are good with good experienced
Mess facilities is good and way in they serve us, every one
Seniors are always helpful we ask our doubts any time

Dislikes

Hostel quality is not satisfied with most of students
There is too much rain full, suddenly any time rain started
Hostel in time not good.we want more relaxation in this

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good and I got job offers from MNCs. Above 200 companies are coming with job offers like IBM, TATA, HONDA, VOLTAS, CIPLA Bharat Petroleum, Samsung, goedreg, ko SanDisk, Infosys, etc.

College life is so good , fests conducted are fabulous,
Infrastructure is quite good, greenery is allover,
Faculties are too good, so much friendly nature and supportive

Dislikes

Single rooms are not available for 1st and second year

Placement Experience:

College placement is good, 40 students out of 50 got placed this year, all types of companies come into college, the average package is 10-15 lpa and the highest is 45-50 lpa, I will opt for placement after my degree, and then pursuing masters

My overall experience of S.V.N.I.T

Likes

Faculty are well qualified.They are nice and supportive
Classrooms are cleaned and in well condition.
The network connectivity is also better.There will be no issue of network.

Dislikes

Timings of Dispensary is issue.The doctor are not available for 24*7.
Library is not opened for 24*7.Closing time of Library is around 10:30PM.
Main gate of campus is not remain open for 24 hours.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. After passing the first 6 semesters you will be able to apply for placement. For My branch(Civil Engineering) last year the average package was around 6.32LPA and the percentage of students getting placement in my branch was around 64%.

My review of SVNIT is a mixed one. It is a good choice in almost every aspect other than sports.

For sports enthusiasts, SVNIT is not the right choice. The condition of sports facilities at our college is not good. The sports grounds are not in a good shape. The cricket/football ground becomes a grassland from July to December.

The indoor badminton courts, which are two in number, are immensely insufficient to cater to around 4000 students. Each one has to wait a long time for their turn, and is given around 10 minutes to play the sport. Such a huge number of students can not access the badminton courts for sufficient durations. MMNCT is the best sports event of the year. It is an inter-year cricket tournament that takes place at night. The gym is well designed and has all the modern equipment.

Many classes are boring. But a lot of the professors, especially in the Civil department, teach really well. The marking system is very transparent, and after 15-30 days post the exams, answer sheets are made available for students to have a look. The classrooms are also very school-like in appearance. The rules are lenient, and most teachers are satisfied with a 60% student attendance.

The location is quite good, and malls, theaters, etc. are easily accessible. The campus is located in a posh area of Surat. Places like Mumbai, Daman, etc. are easily accessible for getaways. The placements are top notch, the clubs are plenty and quite decent. The mess food is quite good as well.

Unless you are very serious about getting the best sports facilities, SVNIT is a good college. But for sports facilities, I would recommend you try for MNIT Jaipur.
