IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Most of the people get placed in their final year of course but many students grab internships in the 2nd and 3rd year. Some students get internships in their 1st year. The highest package this year is 90 lakh per annum now.(from computer science) One got 81 lakh. One another got 66 lakh ( from Environmental Engineering) 7 students got placement in Google with a package of 54 lakh More than 24 students got 45 lakh till now. And many students got 35 lakh plus. In petroleum, 10 students got placed in ONGC with a package of 21 lakh. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many other giants visited for campus placement. Placements are still in progress for this year. I am really happy to see the progress of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, placements are getting better year after year.

From the 6th semester, a major group of students gets placed. Many Brilliant once even also get placed in the 4th semester. This year we got the highest package of 90 lakhs per annum and an average of 18 lakhs per Annum. Almost 90% of students got placed. I want a good job or I want to be an entrepreneur

As the institute is very good that's why you can choose any course like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and IIT ISM Dhanbad is also very famous for mining engineering. The faculty-student ratio is the same as other IIT's. Faculties are very good all teachers are well educated. Term exams are like every other engineering College there are two semesters every year.

From 3rd semester onwards. Almost 250+ companies visited and 700+ on-campus placements were offered. Amazon, Microsoft, Bloomberg, Apple, Samsung, Coal INDIA, ONGC, Indane Oil. Highest package - 91 lakhs (Bloomberg) Average package- 11 lakhs 80% I want to work with Amazon or Microsoft.

Employment opportunities are just awesome. There is almost 100% placement in IT branches with the highest package as 90lakh/year. The placement of other branches is also good. Almost all the students who sit for placement get placed other students abroad for higher studies or prepare for other exams.

In the 3rd year, students can get PPO( pre-placement offer) while they get placed only in the 4th year. The companies that gave placement offers include Google, Microsoft, Vedanta, ESSL, coal India, etc. The highest package that has been bagged by the student of IIT ISM is 90 lakhs then 80 lakhs and about 8 students have been given a package of 54 lakes this year in 2021. This year more than 124 students got a package of more than 25 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is also high about 80% while the rest either go for higher studies or pursue their startup.

From the 4th semester and onwards internship process is started. Some companies like Google, Microsoft, Paypal, Facebook, Emphasis, etc are visiting our campus and giving students a very attractive package. I have to get a good job after graduating.

Campus placement is very good like other IITs almost 75-80percent of students get placed with the highest packages around 55lac per annum. Almost 100 percent of students from CSE and 95percent of students from ECE get places. Around 75-80 percent of students from our branch also get placed from campus placement and the rest opt for off-campus placement and higher studies.

From the 2nd semester, students are eligible for internships. You require to maintain at least 8 GPAs every semester. More than 80% of students get placement in good companies every year. The highest package of 2021 was 90 lakh per annum of a CSE student.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, TCS, Goldman Sachs, etc. 80 percent of the students get placed in our college and nearly 15 percent of the students opt for higher studies. I wanted to opt for higher studies after getting placed.
