Good- Campus life is very good Bad-A better administration can do a better job.

They have everything well structured and in proper manner. But sometimes they get too strict with there rules and regulations.

The campus is very big and is filled with greenary which is very pleasant in comparison to city. The pollution level is almost zero which is very noce.

I'm really interested in maths and the course structure best suited my interests. It involved probability, statistics and even economics. The institute is the biggest in India and provides a diverse competitive environment. I believe such an environment leads to self growth and would keep one engaged.

It is an excellent place to spend your college life regardless of its few short comings.

Overall, IIT KGP is known for its students and not for its professors or infrastructure or funding.

It's an awesome place to learn. We get a lot of facilities which is difficult to get get in most of the colleges of our country. The fees is also reasonable as compared to other private colleges. There are several scholarships available based on the merits. Placements are also decent enough. There is a lot of scope to do future studies in other reputed institutes of the world.

IIT Kharagpur is a prestigious institution so getting a seat in any department is an achievement. I chose this college for its vast scope of knowledge as it has the most number of departments compared to any IIT's and people are naturally curious. IIT Kharagpur has the biggest library in Asia and there's no shortage of knowledge that can be assimilated in a student. The curriculum of IIT's is inter disciplinary so the students don't have to face the narrow niche of their departments. All in all IIT Kharagpur is a good institute and a chance that shouldn't be overlooked.

Having a predilection towards science and mathematics, I wanted to get into one of the best engineering universities in our country and IIT kharagpur was an obvious choice. I grew a lot because of the peer group and the academic environment there. The flexibility and opportunities of pursuing interests outside of your course is what I liked the most about this college. I chose this degree because it was relatively light, syllabus wise and hence I would get ample time to explore other interests and opportunities and grow as an individual.
