DU SOL Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I knew I have to do CA, so I wanted to do a less difficult course, so I picked B.COM. In my university, there were around 35 students in class and different faculties for each of the subjects. The teaching method of teachers was simple as old school teachers, normally teaching the subject on the blackboard and detailing the provisions. My exams were not tough as I was pursuing CA, so I didn't found it difficult.

The reputed companies and organization that have participated in recruitments are:- Dalmia Group. ISA global. NIIT Ltd. HDB Financial Services. SOL provide placements but not up to a high level. 20%of the students get placement. The average basic package is between 2 - 2.5 lakh/month.and the lowest is 1 lakh. My plan after completing my undergraduate is to compete for the CAT examination.

I chose this course because I belong to a commerce background and the ultimate goal was to get a bachelor's degree and also preparing for other competitive exams side by side. Faculty: student is approximately 1: 40. All the teachers in SOL join to teach on a temporary basis and are highly qualified. Since they've already taught in regular college for years, they are quite experienced as well. The teaching method is quite student-friendly and understandable because teachers know how to get things done. Exam dates are almost the same as that of a regular student, the level of questions is moderate, if you study well then passing the exams is absolutely no pain for you.

From the 4th semester, students can get campus placement opportunities. Many renowned companies like tata, reliance had come with an average package of 17000 to 28000 per month for the clerk post. 10 percent of students get placement out of the total students who applied. I will do the job in renowned companies in the accounts department.

The bachelor of commerce is a graduate degree and I choose this course because it enhances the ability to learn and study a variety of subjects: accountancy, finance, economics, business management, industrial policies after completing b.com I can avail myself of post graduate opportunities like MBA m.com etc. -faculty student ratio is 1:10 and the minimum is 1:15. -candidates who have completed 10+2 examination or equivalent by the board established by law in India. The teaching method includes lectures and discussions, situation role playing book reviewed and case analysis. The spam time provision allows student extra time to complete their degrees undergraduate students need to finish their degrees within 6 years. Passing is not difficult but just studying two days before an exam will not fetch you good marks for that you have to study regularly and revise the syllabus at least two times.

Students are eligible for the placement in their 5th semester. I didn't face any kind of interview yet but I heard so many great companies recruiting. companies paid according to the excellence of the students but the average package is 5-6 lack PA. The percentage of students getting placement is above 65%. It should be more than that. After my degree, I choose higher study.

I chose it because it didn't have the mandatory attendance required like in regular and NCWEB. Moreover, it was less time consuming as the classes started in the month of nov and ended in the month of march, that too only on sundays and public holidays. The allocated us the colleges where our classes would be held like my classes were held in the Faculty of Education (CIE)- DU itself. The professors were really good and encouraging. The students and the staff members also had good behaviour towards us. Overall it was a really good experience. Last year I've graduated and when I had started my third they had introduced semesters instead of annual examinations. The study material provided by them is best, even if you don't have books obe can rely on them.

After the course completion l do CA and if the company offer a valid and good package then I will do it. The maximum package of this course is up to 30,00,000 and the minimum package is up to 2,00,000 to 3,00,000.

Final year or Sixth Semester students are eligible for the placements that are conducted by SOL at the end of the year but you've to register for it manually, your profile doesn't get automatically registered to any of the placement drives.

After completing our degree from SOL there is not an opportunity given by the college's all the students are going personally for and giving an interview for the jobs that because this these types of colleges are not giving classes on regular basis.
