A Guide to Sri Venkateswara College

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Placement Cell which carries out all activities related to internships for all students and Placement/ Articleships opportunities for final-year students. The list of companies which were part of campus recruitment included big names like PWC, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Aon, Accenture, Bain, DE Shaw, and many more. The average package came to around Rs 6,00,000 with the highest package reaching amounts like 21.5 lakhs. More than 50% of the students sitting for placements got placed suggesting the high level of the candidates of the college.

Great Intership

Placement Experience:

The placements at this college are very good. Students are eligible for placement once they completed their 4th sem in BCom. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture and Bain usually come to this college and offer great packages. The highest package was around 11 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 4-5 lakhs per annum.

Best College of South Campus

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. There is a condition for to be part of the placements that are that you must attend a minimum number of seminars and webinars. Many companies like Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, and many other big names visit the college. The highest package is around 9 lakhs and the average is around 6 lakhs going minimum about 3 lakhs. I am not planning to be a part of this placement as I have different dreams. I want to be a cricketer. I will look for government jobs-related things

Sri venkateswara college review

Placement Experience:

Placements at the college require you to have a minimum GPA to be eligible to apply for the post. The placement committee is very active in organizing everything and communicating with the students as well as the companies coming on campus. Around 50% of the batch were placed through college placement where the highest package ranges from about 8lpa-10lpa

By entering in the third year of graduate students are eligible for placement. There are various companies. The highest average package in last year in my course was of 12lakhs/year. There are only a few percentages of people who get placement. I plan to complete my post-graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams for the first 3 semesters were online, BA Programme course-wise is easy, fun, and relaxing in comparison to honors courses. Assignments were given every month per semester ( may differ from college to college). Exams happen and are easy to pass.

As soon as 3rd year starts, registration for placements begins. After verifying the details they approve your resume and you can start applying for companies as and when they come. Various companies like Accenture, KPMG and Deloitte visited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members for my course are so good, friendly, and knowledgeable. I chose this course because I wanted to know our Indian culture from the deepest and I have so much interest in Indian ancient history. Faculty are Ph.D. Mainly in Sanskrit. The teaching method is easily understandable and they teach us according to our comfort. Talking about exam difficulties the fact is if you have prepared for this exam honestly it is not that difficult to pass. You just have to take lectures regularly and self-study is a must. And you have to be excellent in the Sanskrit language to get outstanding marks.

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.
Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.
Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.
Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.
Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.
Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
