- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements.
All of the top companies Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc hire from the campus.
The highest package is 2.05 cr (international) and 1.2 cr domestic. The average package is nearly 26 lacs and 90+(%) students get placed.
Mainly I am planning for masters after completing my degree.

Placements in the software field are quite good in our college but do not have good placements stats when it comes to the core like mechanical, electrical, or others. The placement session starts in the 7th semester. Other details like an average package, companies visited, etc you can find on the internet.

IITG has some remarkable placing statistics. The Computer Science and Electronics branch has almost 80% placement, whereas other key branches have modest placement rates. A Computer Science student may expect to earn approximately 20LPA on average. The companies were all todays tech and computer programming based companies.

IITG has some remarkable placing statistics. The Data Programming and Telecommunication branch has almost 90-100 percent placement, whereas other key branches have modest placement rates. A Computer Programmer may expect to earn approximately 20LPA on average. This package was very good.

My university taught me critical job-search skills and provided me with networking opportunities with potential employers. My seniors were placed in Adobe, Amazon, Bank of America, Deloitte, Ericsson, Facebook, Infosys, Xerox Research, Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, and PWC. My university was equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement process. The career centre assisted me in arranging Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Group Discussions, Interviews, etc.

After the completion of the sixth semester, one becomes eligible for campus placements. More than 50 companies visit and around 1000 offers are made. The highest package was around 2.20 crores while the lowest was 12 lakhs the average being 22 lakhs. Around 89 per cent of the student were placed.

The placement is very good some students are getting PPO also in my branch this year 93% student are placed .companies like google, amazon, Microsoft is making the highest offers highest package 2.05 crore is offered by uber international and in my branch, an average of 25 lacs is offered this year.
