Internship in this college

Placement Experience:

Students in 5th are eligible to sit for placements. Placements are low for BSc(Hons) Electronics course. In my batch, no one gets a campus offer from any company. Some students prepare for government jobs some get admission in MBA, MCA, MSc courses.

Best Campus Experience with Affordable Fees

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides a lot of placement opportunities for its students. You will become eligible to sit in the placement drive in your 5th semester. The average package is 5 lakh per annum and the highest package went to 16 lakh per annum. About 65 percent of the students in BSc maths Hons were placed. The rest of the students went for further studies. Companies like Wipro, KPMG visit the college for placements

I had chosen the BSc(Hons) Electronics. I choose this course because it opens a lot of opportunities in the IT field. 1:45 teacher-student ratio. Teachers of our Department are highly qualified and well trained. Exams are held every four months.

Best College with Good Faculty and Amazing Exposure

Placement Experience:

In Sri Venkateshwara college students become eligible to sit for placements after the 2nd year. Many companies visit the college for placement such as Deloitte, KPMG, United Airlines, Zomato, etc. The highest package was 15 lakh per annum and the average package was 5 lakh per annum. More than 60 percent percent of students were placed in my course. I will continue to pursue my further studies after completing my course

Venky - Yay or Nay?

Placement Experience:

5th sem students become eligible for placements. Major companies like Accenture, BCG, DE Shaw visit and offers made is fairly good however the number of quality companies has been dropping exponentially over past years. Most of the students who want to go for a job get placed. I got a campus placement too and the package is good. Profiles offered range from Actuarial Analyst to Content Writer to Sales and Associate Consultant, etc.

Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

No one in our batch got placement from campus. Companies visited our college but they don't provide jobs related to our course. Although the highest package in our college is 18LPA and average is around 7LPA-8LPA. Most of the students from my batch go for higher studies or either prepare for govt. jobs. Some students got admission in MCA, MBA, MSc. I chose MCA.

Get a Glimpse about Venky!

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college 2 years back was 17 LPA which is great. The average package is 4.5 LPA. We are allowed to sit for the placements from the 3rd year i.e. 5th semester. Various profiles were offered like analyst, consultant, research analyst, data analyst, finance, risk advisory, business development, research and development etc. How many students get placed depends on various factors and vary year to year, for my senior's many students were placed and in my batch half the number of offers was there. I am pursuing my master's degree in the same field.

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.
Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.
Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.
Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.
Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.
Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
