Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very good for practical as well theoretical point of view and also if you want to do teaching in colleges and schools then it will be best to take this course. Many of the professors of DU who are teaching in respective Colleges are from the Department of. DU. Well, faculties are not very large in the number you will find that one teacher is teaching 100 students but classroom are very large and well equipped so there are no such problems. Faculty are well educated mostly all professors have done their Pos doc's from outside India. The teaching method is also very good. They will always help you when you want any help. The exam is quite difficult if we compare it with undergraduate courses but if you are taking regular classes and making notes so will be easy to pass the exams.

Projects and internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after the fourth semester for campus placements. So many companies like Dobbs and Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture have visited our college and have made so many offers. The highest package was 19.6 lakhs and on average 5-6 lakhs is the package offered by them. Around 70 percent of students get placement.

Placement Experience:

A lot of internships are there as I already said placement cell is very active. Though the package isn't too much just 3 4 lakhs per year. I dont think students take placement they just do internships to add up to their resume and go for further studies only. Other questions please ask placement cell Of our college about that I dont have an idea. I plan to do MSC stats afterwards.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very active placement cell which keeps conducting seminars and every now and then internship opportunities are posted on the official groups for the students to check. I have seen maximum placement opportunities for Maths, Economics, Bcom, Statistics, English, Physics but yes there used to come many placement opportunities for in general all the course. The percentage of students placed are not that high but they do provide a decent package for each of them. The highest salary package offered was 18-19 lakhs per annum by the DE Shaw company.

Placement Experience:

In last year, students got eligible for placement. Companies like PWC, Deloitte, McKinsey, Bain and Co and all big firms come here for placement. This college will provide you ample of opportunities for placements. The highest package was 14 lakh p.a and average is 5 lakh p.a. But most students go for MBA

Placement Experience:

From the first semester, you are eligible for internship or placements but chances of getting a good internship depend upon your practical knowledge & skills. There are mostly local companies and a few big brands that visit for placements and internships like Bajaj, Ashok Leyland, etc. I heard that the no. of students getting placed is high, but getting a high package is a little bit tough. The average package is 2.4 lac/yr and highest up to 9 lacs/yr, but you will get your best if you do hard work. Most of the students go for higher studies after the UG program rather than getting placed. Some go abroad for their higher studies.

How to choose a college in Delhi University

Placement Experience:

In Sanskrit also people are eligible for jobs. There are no of companies and internships for you if you are willing to do so. And the package is also very good. Minimum it is 3 lakhs per annum and maximum it is 7 lakhs. And it can exceed also. In our colleges, many reputed companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, byjus, extra marks, KPMG, etc have come. And they also recruit a no of students. There js a minimum eligibility criterion which you have to clear and then you are able to crack the tests which are offered by the companies. And it is preferred to sit in the placement after 2nd year.

The placement is not really good for BA programming. But you can apply off-campus Just build your CV really nicely Upgrade your skill.B.com Students has the chance of getting placement. I don't have more information about the package but as far as I know, it is average. Through placement cell you can get many opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Placements offered by our college are pretty good. All the departments offer exciting placements. The average highest salary package is 5LPA and the lowest is 1LPA. Many good companies come to the college. If in some courses there are no placements, then they offer good internship opportunities too. Some students plan for higher education too after attaining a bachelor's degree.

Lots of placement comes in the 3rd or final year of college. A lot of students get placement and some don't. Some companies give the highest packages but some don't. Many give 1.2lacs per year package as they are hiring Freshers but later on salaries can be increased according to your performance but mostly commerce and art sides get more placements

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.
Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.
Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.
Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.
Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.
Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
