- Courses and faculty - course are interesting and faculty is very enthusiastic and have great knowledge and have helping nature polite
- Scholarships like merit-cum-means and institute free studentship are available based on merit and financial need.
- Iit guwahati is renowned not only for its academic excellence but also for the picturesque beauty for its campus, making it one the most aesthetically pleasing educational instituitions in india.
Dislikes
- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

As iitg is one of the top universities in this country it attracts many good companies and has good placements every year and they takes place in start of 4th year and has a decent average package this campus also provides internships to the students in 3rd year

- The campus is very beautiful I liked it when I saw for the first time .
- The placement is also very good , almost good people will get placed.
- The infrastructure is quite good it's very well built
Dislikes
- I don't like the corruption here , it is very high.
- The politics is also very high one hostel doesn't want other hostel to develop .
- The campusbis far from city that much is not available in the college.
Placement Experience:
From 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements , many companies visit the campus and take 10 students which is a good number highest package was 1.2 crore in the year 2023 it was national offer inyernation offered are even high . The average package is 20 to 22 lakhs . Almost 78 percent students get placed in the campus placements . I just want to a pursue a job for now .

- Most beautiful campus which is well maintained and kept green.
- Most of the things happening in the campus are maintained by student body.
- Facilities for almost all sports are very well provided.
Dislikes
- More politics are happening regarding positions of responsibilities where students compete
- More corruption regarding funds released for student facilities in hostels
- Hostels number can be improved because rooms built for single occupancy are allotted for 2 students in other hostels.
Placement Experience:
When 7th semester is completed placement season starts which continues till the end of 8th semester. Many large MnCs like Amazon,Google, Microsoft, Rubeix etc. have visited campus during this season offering roles like SDE and ML engineer and various core departmental roles

- I really liked the services provided by this institute such as free bus from campus to city
- The peer group is very nice and we can travel across north east.
- The fests which occur every year especially alcheringa a cultural fest is awesome
Dislikes
- As i am from south india when i have semester i have to travel in train for 2 days or take expensive flights
- The weather is a bit problem. As in summer season its very humid as river is nearby and in winter its very cold.
Placement Experience:
The placements in this college will take place in the start of 4th year and the placements are good as this institute is one of the top colleges in the country and the average package is pretty good.Very good companies,MNC's visit the campus for placements such as gooale microsoft amazon flipkart uber.

- Campus is very beautiful and well maintained and also facilities are very good.
- Good interaction with seniors for guidance and clubs are there for developing our interest in a field to our skill.
- Students control most of the things happening in the college
Dislikes
- More politics are involved regarding positions of responsibilities.
- Mess food is like average considering taste. But it is nutritious
- More corruption regarding funds allocated for student facilities.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are eligible for placements which is very complex process involving many rounds.
many companies like rubrix,sprinklr,amazon, microsoft etc have visited and made offers for many students.

- The Campus as a whole is really beautiful.
- The hostel is good and the available facilities are adequate
- The library and computer centre is really nice.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not that great and is a concern.
- Some services are expensive near campus than their real price
- The lecture hall is quite far from my hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It was the only available course I was able to avail in this college so I didn't had much choice but we have good faculty to student ratio and the faculties are good and helpful.
The term exam were moderate and were easy to pass if you studied well

- I can't think of any dislikes I have right now.
Placement Experience:
The placements of this college is descent. With approx 80? students getting placed while other opt for higher studies. My plans after getting the degree, for now, is also like others, to get placed with descent package.

- Facilities that our college provide like swiming pool gym basketball courts badminton courts
- There will be cultural event from every different region so we can learn more about others culture.
- Campus of over college is very beautiful in our campus we have like 3 lakes
Dislikes
- As such ther is nothing much but some student take exam pressure too much sosome that is bad for some of them
Placement Experience:
Placements in these colleges is very good because its one of the top colleges in india for technology. We can sit for campus placement during our final year. Most of the big companies like FAANG companies and all other major companies will visit campus most of the student will get placed highest package is around 2-3 crore per annum

- The campus have beautiful views of the hills behind our hostels.
- The placement drive at IIT guwahati is awesome.

- My Branch that is MnC is pretty difficult as compared to other branches.
Placement Experience:
At the end of 7th semester, the placement drive starts at IIT guwahati, which is after the PPO-(pre-placement offers by every companies for the people who did the interns). The highest package offered at guwahati is about 2Cr and average package is about 24 lakhs per year.Almost every gets placed at iit Guwahati.

- Educational qualities are very good.prof are very helpful
- Seniors who give us the right information on right time
Course Curriculum Overview:
CSE is a very good course. The prof is very helpful here. The faculty student ratio is 1:3....So basically faculties are top notch..They can teach and guide you in proper way. We have 2 term exams 2 quizzes. And passing in those courses are not too difficult
