- Courses and faculty - course are interesting and faculty is very enthusiastic and have great knowledge and have helping nature polite
- Scholarships like merit-cum-means and institute free studentship are available based on merit and financial need.

Dislikes
- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

- The campus is very well planned and it is well maintained . There are 2-3 lakes in campus and there are trees everywere. The air is very clean.
- The student culture at IITs offeres you many opportunes to learn and grow. Whether you are interested in Coding or robotics, Sports or music, it has everything. You might run ot of time but you will never run out of things to do.
Dislikes
- Academic pressure to always perform well because everyone in IIT is very competitive.
- The weather is very humid so you sweat a lot.
- There are a lot of mosquitos, insects and dogs in hostel and on campus. Recently there was a warning regarding leopards in some areas.
Placement Experience:
All 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. I am a first-year student so I have less knowledge about the placement process and related things but all stats are available online. The IIT Guwahati's highest package (international) stood at 2.4 cpa and the highest domestic package offered was 1.1 cpa.

- The green campus, lakes all around are the things every person would like. Apart from these, locals working in the college are good and helpfull.
- Awesome sporting facilities. Many options to choose among the sports option available here.
- Good roads and infrastructure. A beautifull auditoriam, several community halls etc
Dislikes
- Professors are not good enough, I personaly do not understand what they are teaching in the class.
Placement Experience:
So many companies come to the college to hire students. Huge MNCs like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman and sacs, etc are the companies that come to provide placements. Campus placements have records of packages up to 1 cr per annum. Excellent placement opportunities are provided.

- Common bathrooms so it's tougher to adjust
- Long distance between hostel and academic complex

From the 7th sem, they are eligible for campus placements.
Many big companies like Google Microsoft Goldman Sachs etc made offers.
In my branch, the highest offer was 90 lpa.
And the average was 22 lpa.
98% of students get placed every year.
I want to pursue my master's or a good salaried job.

- the hostal culture of the college is very good and mixing unlike roorkie as heard.
- the placement and internship opportunities are great.
- Festivals of all religions and all regions are celebrated with the same energy.
Dislikes
- The 3 months interaction ban with senior due to anti-ragging form.
- The biometric attendence system which completely disturbs normal college vibe.
- The teaching method of the facaulty and the classroom vibe.

Students become eligible for placement in 4rth year and are eligible for internship from the 3rd year. The highest domestic package of the year 2023 was 1.2cr and the highest international package of the year 2023 was 2.44cr.

The companies offered nearly more than 900+offers
The highest international package is 2.4 crores and the highest domestic package is around 1.5 crores
The average package is around 26.27 lakhs, and many profiles in its companies and other software companies profiles like assistant managers and developers are offered
Around 95% of students are getting placements
Iam planning to prepare for civils after getting my degree

- I like College environment and having beautiful nature .And college is in700 acres .I love this nature.I like ky friends they are very good.
- I like faculty, they are highly qualified and they teaching very well , almost every student understood the concepts, the classroom also very clean , good.
- Here occur campus placement, almost all students get job in their campus placements .If we are good in cumminication skills, coding and you easily get good package.
Dislikes
- College have so many dogs , always they barking, I don't like this dogs.
- Sometimes washing machines are not working, we faced problems
- Sometimes water problem is also occured but it's very rare

In my college, I have good placements. After the 7th semester, you have to attend on placement. So many companies visited our college like Infosys, Google, software companies, etc. Here the average package is 25 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 2 crores. Most of the companies are software companies, and companies select the students who are good in communication skills, and coding, and accordingly who are best in their field. Almost 88 percent of placed in this institute. Iit Guwahati is the top seventh college in India.

Placement Experience:
The placements here are great. Students become eligible from 3rd year for internships, and in 4th year they get placed. Almost every company ranging from software to core jobs come here. Some are Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, amazon, google, etc. The highest package was 1.15 cr last year, and the median was 2500000. 95 per cent and above students got placed according to the data provided. I plan to get placed in the software domain after completing my degree.

- Our campus is very well maintained and it is called most beautiful IIT

Our college has one of the best placement record in India
From 7th semester you can apply for placements and there is cpi cap for attending some interviews
The highest package in the year 2023 is 2.4 crores and lowest was 5.2 lakh
Avg package is around 21.15 lakh which was amazing
As expected of a teir 1 college
Many tech gaints like Amazon, IBM , Microsoft etc visited for recruitment

- The Ambience is very good and our college is so beautiful and has attractive surroundings
- The educational system is very nice and they are useful for us
- They are other extra curricular activities and sports competitions are good
Dislikes
- We have language problem with faculty some faculty are teaching in their own mother language
- Food is not good. we took time to adjust here but still we are unable to eat
- The college is far from the city it is in outskirts
Course Curriculum Overview:
I like maths so I took mathematics and computing.the ratio is 1:15 approximately.the faculty are nice and they have higher qualification.exams are difficult and not that much difficult to pass.questions are innovative and we have to think in different ways to solve them

- AIr conditioners should have been there in the rooms for such Hot summers
- Wifi connectivity is not there in the hostel rooms, we have to use LAN connectivity

IIT Guwahati's phase 1 placement drive saw 919 offers being made, with the highest international package being INR 2.4 crore per annum and the highest domestic package being INR 1.1 crore per annum. The highest PPO package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum. On day one, 168 offers were made by 46 companies, including 2 international offers. The average package offered during IIT Guwahati's BTech CSE placements 2023 stood at INR 41 LPA.
My plan is to get a job with handsome package and However being interested in entrepreneurship
