- Courses and faculty - course are interesting and faculty is very enthusiastic and have great knowledge and have helping nature polite
- Scholarships like merit-cum-means and institute free studentship are available based on merit and financial need.

Dislikes
- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

Placement Experience:
On campus placements are provided after 6th or 7th semester. The companies coming include Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Goldman Sach, Rubrik, Oracle etc. Higest package 2.4 Cr , aevrage package 21 lakh.
Around 95% students get placed. Rest go for higher studies or entrepreneurship. My plan is to get a job first then do specialisation in a filed, which i feel to have a high value in the future markets.

- Hostel life at iitg is amazing and I truly appreciate it

- The weather here is very unpredictable and it just ruins plans
- Lecture hall air conditioning is not so good
- A lot of tree fall during rain makes me feel sad

The 8th semester students are mainly eligible for placement. A lot of companies have visited the campus and made offers. About 95 per cent of students got on-campus placement offers. Last year's highest package was about 2cr

- Our is college is called the most beautiful IIT and it live upto it's name. I like College competative environment and campus life very much which helps you push futher in your life to achieve great things
- Faculty is very good and lab and equipment are not out dated
- You can explore many things like taking a minor in other groups and learn skills from that corresponding course, they don't restrict you to your major we have freedom to explore things
Dislikes
- Washing machines need some maintenance,they should solve any problem regarding those quickly
- Breakfast is good but luch and dinner are not so good they need to take some care in changing the menu to students favour
Placement Experience:
My college placements are very good
IIT Guwahati has an avg package of 21 lakh per annum in the year 2023
Placements are held in 7th sem max
There is a cpi cap for some companies
Amazon , Goldman Sachs, Microsoft , IBM,etc..
639 jobs were offered jobs out of 769 registered from btech and bdes in the year 2023
Highest package is 2.4 crores and Lowest was 5.2 lakh in 2023
Not only software companies , many are hired into non tech profiles such as business analyst, Associate Product
Manager, Marketing Manager,
Analyst and core profiles like Graduate Engineer Trainee, Post
Graduate Trainee, Technical Executive and finance profiles in quant etc...
Total placement percentage of 2023(only btech) is 83.09 percent which is amazing considering on going recession
My plans after getting degree is going to abroad for Ms in my interested field

- Open drainage pipe in some areas and khoka food
- Hectic schedule and little more academic pressure
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for internship in the 5th sem while for PPO in the 7th sem and for placement in the 8th sem. Google Microsoft Mahindra Tata relience amco HDFC ICICI Bank Johnson's etc companies visit here.. highest package last year was 4cr while the was 25 lakhs. 89% of students were placed last year.

- I liked almost all thing I don't think there are not many dislike things.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen my course in counseling, even I to intrested due to some new innovations that are to be done. Faculty in the college are highly qualified from their perspective fields and they are very much talented and they don't hesitate anyone regarding anything we ask to them they are always ready to help us. Even exams are very tough and it's very complicated for us to overcome through those exams.

- The first thing to be liked is the beauty of the campus.
- Secondly the cultural and technical fests are also awesome.
- Thirdly the placements records are very good to impress a student.
Dislikes
- The course of MA101 is a thing to be disliked the avg. marks in the course is just 3 out of 30.
- Freshers are provided double sharing rooms.
- The central gym in the campus needs to be improved.
Placement Experience:
According to my knowledge students who are in the 7th semester are eligible for the placement opportunities provided by the campus. The international companies are Google l, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, American Express, Texas Instruments, Uber, Qualcomm, C-DOT, Enphase Energy, and Oracle, and Indian companies are Reliance, Bajaj, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and many more giving a total of 246 companies. A total of 1,112 students were placed on the campus which accounts for 78.04% of total students across all programmes. No. of international offers provided was 20.

- All fests or events conducted here are being organised by students that I like as it improves responsibility
- Here there are many clubs which we can choose as per our interest, which kearns us more things
- College infrastructure was very nice and it was the most beautiful iit
Dislikes
- Lack of interaction with our seniors at the starting of college
- There is no ragging in college , due to that there is no friendly environment between juniors and seniors
- Our college is very far from city so for any need we have to travel a long distance
Placement Experience:
Here in our college from 5th semester onwards, the students are allowed to get campus placements.
Here at our college many tip companies will come to give job offers as tech Mahindra, hi caliber, Google, Amazon, etc.

- Nature and campus of IIT Guwahati and it's weather
- Infrastructure is of top class as compared to all the iits
- It's greenery is also very NYC and faculty members behaviour is quite good
Dislikes
- In rainy season rains account daily that I don't like
- Some PhD scholar behaviour is not good as much but they are good
- Some times some animals come inside campus like leapords
Placement Experience:
from the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement.
amazon NASA isro Google and many more company visits and 1127 offers made last year.
97 percent of students get placed.
my plan is to get a good placement.

- I liked everything about our college from its natural beauty to its amazing fest to the peer background
- I loved every sports facility here and all the clubs
- I liked my hostel and its mess along with my seniors
Dislikes
- The thing i disliked was that we had interaction ban with seniors in the freshman year for three months compulssory
- Also i did not like morning tutorials from 8am
Placement Experience:
Students start getting internship offers in the 3rd year
We have several companies visiting the campus eg Google Microsoft apple Goldman Sachs Jane Street etc.
Nearly all of the students get placed in an on-campus manner
Few students decide to pursue a masters in the US
I plan to complete a master's degree from the usa in robotics

- I liked the weather of iit guwahati. Sometimes sunny sometimes rainy .
- The facilities are really awesome. The sports facilities are exceptional.there is a club to accomodate all your interests
Dislikes
- The sex ratio is bad. Really hard to find a girl
- There are exams frequently which is a bit stressful
- There are lot of snakes,leapoard and wildlife in campus which is scary
Placement Experience:
The placement rate of IIT Guwahati is very high.
In CST we have avg package of 22 lakhs.
In fact previous year a person from CST got a 1 cr package but from non-core.
Overall placements of iit guwahati are very high.
