Some elite students get placement in 2nd year, most get in 3rd years and leftovers get in 4th year. The companies visited are SCI, MSC, NYK, Wan hai lines , delos, delta corps, Chevron, BP, etc and offers made are10 lakh from 4th engineer which comes after completing tme period and clearing meo class4 exams. All packages are almost same in this industry and difference lies in ships types and conditions. Placement is about 90 percent. I am planning to sail after completion of degree.

From 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement and company start to visit More than 20 companies are visiting our campus and that is quite enough for 220 students. Fleet management is the mass recruiter of our college at least selecting 32 students 90% get placed during the college tenure only the rest are placed within 1-2 months after college My plan is simply to get a job in a good shipping company as an engineer

From 5th semester placement commence Many companies like Anglo eastern, v ships, fleet management, chevron, mol, Pacific basin, sci, etc. The placement percentage is more than 80 %. I will take the placement and for sailing after my degree

Cadets are eligible to get placement after 4rh semester. More than 10 Companies visited imu. Most recruiting companies in our college are Fleet Management, BSM, Pacific Basin, NYK, MOL, and much more. 75%-80% are getting placement every year.

I always wanted to join the Merchant navy as it is a very progressive field with a very good Pay scale and Worldtour opportunities I chose the BTECH MARINE ENGINEERING course as it is a very professional course that also covers mechanical engineering concepts. The course is for 4 years. The Student and teacher ratio is 1:37. The Faculty is well qualified and the discipline in the college is of high standards. Exams are conducted 2 internal and 1 Final Sem.

Companies start taking placement exams in the 6th semester. Anglo-eastern, fleer management, and MSC are top industry leaders hiring directly from campus interviews. These companies provide paid training as cadets onboard merchant ships paying around 500-900 USD per month. After completing training and receiving coc salary is increased up to 2500-3000 USD. At the time of completion, of the course, almost all the eligible students are placed.

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th 7th and 8th sem, 10-14 companies visit the campus on average and more than 120 offers are made to students on average. Around 80% of student gets placed rest go for masters and some opt govt job. My plan after getting the degree will be to go with campus placement for 2-3 years while on other hand sitting at the gate to achieve a govt job.

The placements are quite good. Average 70-80% of students get placed. And rest can go for off campus placement or higher studies. Almost 25-30 companies visit our campus every year. I'm a 1st-year student here, so my focus is to get the placement anyhow. Also, our pass-out seniors help in the placement. This campus has a unique culture for this.
